I think that you gotta get over some number of posts to be able to post on other boards.
yeah that might be the reason..! because i can't post in few sub-forums too, few are locked for me, but i can see other can post there.There are no newbie restrictions now, as all restrictions were lifted on Jan 20.

With the newbie restriction lifted up on Jan 20, you should not have any restrictions on posting...
