yes added good if the price jumped there is a chance for us to earn a big fortune later when investing. But what I worry about is Can we still be patient to keep waiting? Because the time required is also long enough 1-2 months.

Well with as strong dev team as the project currently and finally has (the one that has released Tor implemented client)
more advanced tech will be added(see the roadmap) and with current situation in China, this project would be the very best logical way to put your money into if you care, especially in a long term perspective

So, 1-2 months are nothing basically

......Time will tell, but their airdrop is perfect.
ummm....18,314,055 total supply premined by dev....3,208,936 distributed so far. Lot of strings attached about participation and maintaining post count etc or you miss out of some airdrop....and stirngs about what you can do after you get it. If it ever completes.

Quotes below in "" are direct from the OP on BtCT.

"all accounts receiving distributions will need to keep 90% of the coins received on the account during the whole distribution/airdrop period. Any movements greater than 10% of the airdropped amount will disqualify the account from receiving future distributions."

And.....last but not least....there's this...."Genesis block, premined coins, breakdown; 70% will be air-dropped to the community, while 20% will be used for bounties, rewards and other promotions. Remaining 10% will belong to the dev team."

Wait what??? But, there's NO ICO. So maybe xspec's ico and 5% retained by the devs doesn't look so bad after all.

That's not even counting the so-so tech but, I  have to admit....good marketing.....folks are lined up to get their freebies and have NOTHING invested other than their time posting and annoying everyone....
They're the talk of Bitcointalk for now....like SDC once upon a time.

you absolutely right I guess with time Spectrecoin will be better for it its just helping people to get to know the tech behind spectre here is the way see it if when the air drops has ended it could be dumped bringing down the price but I doubt spectre will be dumped so it's all good

This is a very nice and helpful comparison of the anon coins thank you for that!

I am a fan of XSPEC and have been hodling onto it for months, ever since I discovered it along with XVG. The dev team need to be a bit more organized and sooner or later they are going to need to get some businesses signed but for now they seem to be stable and moving forward.

Also interested to see how DeepOnion will measure. Time will tell, but their airdrop is perfect.

It has better technology then Cloakcoin and is lower in price, go read the manual/structure of the cloakcoin.
I think the superior coin above the spectre coin is the zcash with its zcash technology it will have implemented to the ethereum technology which gives a new combination about the smartcontract with the zksnarks that gives the perfect technology that already covered by the real privacy.

I would also suggest you to look into deeponion. The coin is going to get a much wider distribution, due to the developers brilliant airdrop distribution. This is going to make it the primary privacy coin.

Spectre devs seems greedy for making an ICO!

Please back up your argument with math and logic.

Answer these questions please:

1.What can deeponion do which Spectre cannot?

2.How many Deep Onion coins does the Dev have relative to the community as opposed to Spectres Dev relative to the community?

Seriously, answer this question for us using simple math and then tell me if anything you are saying is making sense. Show your work, get your calculator ready.

Please answer my questions as you have come into our thread and disrespected our community. Refer to my above post to understand my frustration as your deeponion is NOT available to some of us.

active dev + strong community + great anon feature (OBFS4) and all this together with a still very low marketcap = strong buy imo

i really liked this coin also, invested a few days ago and it already gave me a 60% profit
and that isn't even the main thing, the main thing is that they have such a great community and the dev team is so damn "present"

it's still cheap as hell imo, the way i see it, i'm gonna buy a few more and hold

This is the only coin I have not had an issue with internationally. I would like to see this adapted in global e-commerce. POS has proven itself here, especially over any centralized masternode system. Surely this one needed an ICO as it is proof of stake, that's how distribution works and the alternative, is not energy efficient. The ICO was undermarketed, poorly timed and development was underfunded for this reason. This project has become much more transparent and backed by a diverse community. Release of 1.3 OBFS4 has brought much attention internationally, some of which have no access to Bitcointalk in general.

The previous shadowcash comment relative to the fork is incorrect as far as I am concerned. Please post reasoning for awareness to everyone's benefit as people from some regions really don't care about personal and unsupported criticism as opposed to technical criticism when there is no other alternative to Spectecoin.

I've added a comparison with DeepOnion here: http://coinwiki.info/en/SpectreCoin#DeepOnion

The marketing scheme is really the only thing that's brilliant about DeepOnion IMO. And marketing being over-proportionally good most likely means that it is highly overvalued.

.....Spectre devs seems greedy for making an ICO!

Last November the ico was launched and over looked by many. Only 5% of the ico proceeds went to three different devs+promotion+ other expenses. That's not exactly greedy and other projects retain(ed) far more. Including the one you're shilling.
Maybe you should check into things before you make off the cuff statements like that.

Xspec is here NOW and fully functional as a TOR+OBFS4 coin on five different exchanges.
Cheers!

At first this looked promising to me but iam not jumping ship on it.
I've heard that spectre is a fork of shadowcash wich had some serious privacy issues proven and is POS.
Could be all wrong but iam holding back for now.
