Those are the best options of how to multiply your portfolio. But you need to mine right coins and you need to find good IEOs. Right now I am investing only, because I believe the next wave of mining has not arrived yet.

I agree that mining is available only to a few people today. To make good money on mining, you need to have very expensive mining farms. For example, I am engaged in POS-mining. Of course, I understand that this is not the same thing. But that allows me to make good money today. For example, recently I found a new coin YUSRA GLOBAL (Site: https://yusra.global and Web-wallet: http://app.yusra.global). This coin allows you to receive up to 30% of profit monthly. How many video cards do I need to get such a profit ... that's why I love POS mining.

It depends  on individual. Mining is in general not a profitable option now. Firstly you have to put a lots of money in rigs. Then the elextrizity comes. And in most of the cases mining is not profitable cause the price of the electricity is too much why. So if you are live a place where electricity icost very low then its fine.

I think both are risky as you may lose your investment, mining is difficult too but if you choose good ICO/IEo you can get a good return in short time as soon as the coin/token go live in exchanges.
it's risky but mining is safer I guess. the results obtained depend on how the market price conditions are, if it is good it will be profitable but if it is bad I think I have to hold it in advance.
mining is better for the long term, whereas IEO or ICO is better for the short term. because coins or tokens from new projects sometimes won't last long because there are too many rivals and can't compete in the market.

Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

I actually like your idea about mining, it surely does have advantages over investing to projects but I think it has its own limit. I honestly did not experience mining simply because I don't have tools for that or simply, it is more expensive, I think. That is maybe the reason why I hooked myself into project investment more than other ways of earning cryptos. But the bottomline here is that, at times like this, almost every way of earning profit from crypto before seems so useless because the market value of most cryptos are continuously falling.

Choose mining over ICO / IEO investment ?? Only with a dime you can mine? how much dime is needed in dollar terms, I want to try mining with dime.
Mining is more guaranteed to avoid fraud, but where poll and calculations in all aspects of calculation will be very complicated, Looking for profit in mining is not easy, here I have difficulties regarding the pool formula and costs despite having mining tools.. If you invest in a place on behalf of minning then in my opinion it is no different from ICO / IEO in technically.

No matter what method you want to invest

Either ICO, IEO, or just buying in the live market,
It will always be about how good the project is and its team on how they mean business with their team and investors,

ICO or IEO coins/tokens can go make High ROI or make a loss.

Well ICO has its golden days and now, it's not a good opportunity for any investors anymore. And IEO has given a lot of profits for the brave and smart people that knows that it will deliver specially on the Binance platform. But you are right about mining but it's just a steady income unlike when you were lucky to invest in the first ICOs and IEOs then you could have 20x - 50x easily which is just 3-5 months of your 3-5 years of you mining.

But is it really profitable ?
Have you count the time, power, electricity that you used for mining ?
IMO mining is not profitable anymore nowdays, because i saw many old miners sell their gpus for low price

Actually, i don't recommend on investing on any ICOs since there a lot of cryptocurrrncy that is much worth it on investing than new token and no value at all. I prefer mining but it will depend on the altcoin that you are mining and if the value will increase in the future.

And also, PoW will depend on the diffculty and how many miner are active. If you want to join an ICO then prepare yourself on selling it after it get listed then buyback in case the peice increases.

In my opinion, mining is much more complicated and requires a technical know how to get the best out of the process. The fact that the hardware gets obsolete easily and one needs to make consistent expenses to maintain the mining rigs makes me scared. I have also heard several persons say mining is not profitable unless you're a large scale miner and in all these the market still determines how much you earn because the value of cryptocurrency are not stable.
Plus the hardware that you need to use when it comes to mining, let say for example, the antminer are suitable for mining bitcoin, if you wanted to mine other altcoins then you should align your hardwares to it. But you correct when it comes to IEO's profits are assured, but is it decent? you might pay more for electricity than getting enough from calculating transactions through mining these coins.

Mining requires a large capital because if only with a small capital you are just wasting time, because the rewards you get are too small. I personally also don't like to invest because the current conditions are not very good for investors.

First of all, your technical equipment must be good. that doesn't work for me unfortunately. but it's great you have luck with your method!
Not always. The amount of difficulty needs a low amount to get a reward.

In any investment world, in my opinion there is no guarantee of profits from every investment made. Price moves very volatile and no one can guarantee that prices will always go up and benefit everyone. Everyone has a choice in investing and I think it is best to invest with money that we can afford to lose
yes indeed, there is no guarantee to any investment you made, even if you do mining or investing in an IEO/ICO you cant guarantee your profit. But if you are comfortable to your investment and if you are really making a profit from that, its good to continue. Facing the risk will be the key to success.

Yeah absolutely right.
But have you ever thought about those who lack funds if you have to build mining?
Doing mining is promising and far from a scam, but not all understand to run mining although it can be learned, but it takes too much time & money. What is clear, most of us, crypto lovers, there is no doubt we want to generate profits without having to bother. On the other hand, crypto activists are usually people who are new to crypto space from their own friends. Where their friends only know trading & investing. Especially in my place. That is I can say.

I think mining is not profitable, I have been mining and I think it takes more than 2 years for RoI, investing IEO / ICO is certainly more interesting and profitable.
Investing with the right IEO/ICO project is far beneficials than mining, though from how we are seeing the market it's tough to pick the right one to invest your money, there's a big risk that you'll find yourself being scammed.

Investing nowadays needs to have a lot of time to invest, studying and working with your own understanding enhance your opportunities to select the right token to support.

Actually you have a point there but there are so many people in the world that doesn't have that kind of money to buy rigs and all of the accessories that are going to need to build a mining rig. I prefer IEO than ICO because the assurance that you'll get your money safe in IEO is better than ICO. Also IEO is one of the most popular investment in cryptocurrency because they are offering instant money if you select a good coin.
If I had money I will also build an mining rig but now that I don't have that kind of money I prefer to invest on IEO.

One thing to consider is the price of electricity in mining. Mining bitcoins in my country is inefficient and might only generate fewer returns since electricity here is expensive. Another problem is being in tropical country and thus need additional electricity for cooling those mining rigs.

I agree on the part of encountering scams and since ICOs and other projects offer too much promises without credibility, its hard to trust your funds to these and might be even scams at the end.
