To be able to quit entirely, you have to face the problem squarely and don't be afraid to ask for help. That way, if you get face to face with gamblng again, you'll be confident you can say no

Well that is if you don't replace that habit of gambling with another activity but if you manage to completely shun gambling for sometime then you have the self will and capability to quit it  for good. All you have to do is to find another activity and replace it with the gambling and you'll  be good with time.

Maybe you should do what OP did, try to divert your attention to other things so you can forget gambling even little by little. It's hard to let go the things that we want and got addicted but if our will of change will drives us to a better one then we can do it. Yeah it isn't easy to do but eventually I know you can successfully eliminate it.

It is always not wrong to leave gambling. Overall, nothing to lose is better than losing something. However, the addiction to return is always there. So even though some people may have quit for days or even months, they may still have the tendency to return back to gambling.

Sure it takes some time for gambling addiction to be cured and those that even succeed to that point of getting cured are few and that is why i agree with you that it takes a strong heart to be able to be able to overcome such difficulties.

Your story is similar to other's, including mine except that you have won 1.6BTC with just 0.001BTC in roulette if it is true.  

Greed is the main reason for anyone to loss all they have including what they have won by the end of the day. Players need to set limit per day for both profit and loss, when limit will be reached they should just stop playing for that day.

I suddenly decided to stop gambling it is because i realize that there is nothing good happen to me ,yes i do enjoy gambling but i should give more priority to my family .. Before when into gamble i forgot to take good care of them and suddenly i realize i don't have any savings left and i am full of debt.

In gambling, usually we hear about this type of stories and these all are similar. Many people lose everything in gambling and many people have been rich from gambling.
But about me, i am in a middle class of gambler who earn sometime and who lose sometime. But i have save myself, because i am not greedy and addicted gambler.

I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision.

With the exception of gambling which promises us money if we eventually win, most addictions just makes us high only. Giving up on a chance to make easy money is no joke and despite losing thousands of dollars in gambling , people still see winning money as a easy money. It's only the wise and strong of heart who will be able completely stop gambling forever and they can't do it even at a go because it's a a gradual process.

Good point in saying that gambling is taking our lives away no matter how we look at it if we are drowning in the addiction to it.

Although, those that are mature enough to stop when necessary is just living their lives./

If you already decided to leave the gambling then you shouldn't visit any gambling section discussion as well and you should pick up some other outdoor activity to keep yourself busy during the free time then you may slowly forget these games. If you don't pick up other activities to spend your free time then it will be challenging for you to forget gambling.
