Think about it, individual can open website anonymously with Bitcoin (Domain, and hosting provider) and start selling illegal stuff for Bitcoin.
In the worst case scenario  internet providers will block the website.
Why we see those things just on the Darknet ?

no if you really think about it you will see that it is not a good idea to use a currency that is not anonymous to buy illegal stuff and in real world people use cash to do this instead and trade in a dark alley in a van Smiley
and as far as online goes they use a real anon coin such as Monero to do the trade in Darknet.

with that said, people do all kinds of crazy things. nobody can stop them. there is no why in my opinion. they think it is anonymous, they do it and get caught. and it is not "just" on darknet as i said

Just consider the darknet market as the down town illegal market down the ally where you can get every goods possible, everybody knows that you could get anything including guns and drugs and even the officials knows that and once in a while you will see some raids being conducted ,usually these raids will be carried out only in case when they are attracting more notoriety. Why you cant see those sites in the open ,is mainly because no service provider will be allowing to host these contents as it will be a head ache for their business and could attract legal issues.

To OP, Darknet is not the "only" place where you buy illegal stuff — maybe it is the only place online. Illegal stuff can also be bought from local individuals/dealers, which is much easier, non-fraudulent, less costly, time saving, and safer (depending on the country, of course). And the dealers are using 'Darknet' because of anonymity. They won't deal on our 'clean' Internet.

Correct, not only in Darknet they can transact illegally but most of them choose Darknet because of its "anonymity" but still its not totally safe for them because there are also law enforcers monitoring it but  at least more secure to those who are doing illegal compared to the usual internet.Fraud people will always find any means to deal their illegal stuff whether in Darknet or in traditional way.

Because the clearnet is traceable. Your IP can reveal where you live, and most domain registrars maintain a KYC (Know your customer) policy, requiring either identity or phone number or address verification. On the darknet you can easily create a domain and host it 100% yourself anonymously.

One of the reason why we see those illegal stuff on darknet because it is not censored.  Almost all users there are either using tor or vpn (hiding their own IP).  Government are having difficulty in tracking people who are using it since almost all people account there are anonymous and not linked to their personal identity.

You can use TOR and VPN on a regular website as well and buy with Bitcoin (guarantee 100% safety) .
You can buy things with Bitcoin using TOR and a VPN on the surface net, but the thing is that's not whose using the security nets. The people selling their stuff want to keep themselves safe and if they try to sell on websites that are accessible with anything, the US government (or interpol or whoever) is going to show up and shut them down.
Silk road, a large marketplace on the deep net, was shut down by the US government. It would have been shut down in a span of a month had it not had the multiple layers on top of it.

If you try to sell those things through normal means there is a very, very high chance that they're going to get caught and everything that they're doing will get shut down, and they will get thrown in jail. It's not like someone can just google "illegal guns" and not have someone looking at their browsing history.

Drugs, guns and everything else that is unsavory is on the darknet because of the relative safety it provides. While it doesn't always keep the consumer safe, the producers and sellers are able to move their products mostly safe from the eyes of the government.

What? They will fucking arrest you no matter what you do. Darknet markets have been seized by the FBI many times and arrests have been made, and you suggest selling drugs on the open net? You think that measly whois protection, offshore hosting and Bitcoin will protect you? The federal agencies will literally sniff you out in minutes.
Also Darknet markets don't sell the illegal stuff themselves, they're platforms for other people to sell on.
lol, my thoughts exactly.   It's the same reason why you can't buy a gun at a gas station.   It's fucking illegal to do so.  This is what lauda refers to as a cancer thread.  It's a silly question/topic that sucks in the signature shitposters.  And this one has an answer that's obvious to anyone with two neurons wired together.

Dafuq. if you don't have knowledge don't talk at all. you the shit siggnature poster here, not me, never me.
you guys come without sensible arguments and play smart ass.
I prove my point here it can be completely safe if you do it as i mention. the only obsticle is the site might be closed because internet / hosting or domain provider. after Intervention of the law but this might take a lot of time.

measly whois protection not, but incorrect personal information do.

Gold world!

However you can be anonymous but not Untraceable. Simply viewing a web page with your screen size, you can be add to a list that has that screen size, with some trick you can view the percentage of battery discharging (discover model ecc ecc)  and be filtered with the previous list. The user agent of your browser (version SO and other stuff) talk a lot about your system, and in a lot of site you can we passible of XSS and get webdata stoled.

Be careful when you are playing games like this  Grin

I think OP is not suggesting anything, he is just wondering why illegal stuff are on Darknet and continue to be sold there.  If FBI are that precise then we should have not seen much of sell offs in that market.  But it is still thriving.  So I guess FBI failed to do their job in sealing that internet side.

thank you for defense Smiley
