I think some people hold back and some sell when bitcoin prices go down, and I think only 20-30% of people who buy bitcoin are priced at $ 20,000 and hold it until now some have already sold when prices dropped slightly, because more traders than investment long term, and people only seek short profits, so when the price of bitcoin goes down they immediately sell it

if you compare its growth to, say gold , bitcoins beats it hands down
or pretty much any asset for that matter
investors are not only some individuals who want to get profit, it can be huge hedge funds or companies
they have specially trained people who calculate risks and I do not think they are that stupid to overlook bitcoin

As long as they have the same number of bitcoins, they still have the opportunity to earn income when the price recovers in the span of time. This is the basis of their thinking. If they risk their money at 20k $ per bitcoin, so much more they will buy bitcoin at $ 9200 which is cheaper.

I agree.Investors keep on trusting bitcoin because they really know that bitcoin has great potentials that would help them to achieve their goals in life. And even if bitcoin price is definitely low at the moment,they managed to make it as an advantage to buy more and hold them for a longer investment.

I know many people who invested in November 2017. thinking it is going way up. way over 30 K. But it didn't happen, some of them sold their coins after January 2018. some of them still are holding it, but some of them sold it immediately in December 2017. It is hard to say where is it going, up or down, last year 2we were hoping it is going over 20 K that is why people invested more.

Simple questions needs a simple answer but a confusing question will get a confusing answer. I am so sorry buddy I could not barely understood what your question is all about but I think I could get an idea for that. You were asking about people investing on 20k USD market price for 1 BTC and now BTC market price could not able to get 10K USD and still people investing?

It is simple, there was a hype that time when bitcoin market price reach to 19K USD. As investors seeing a huge market price increase they are still wanting to invest as the market price still increases that time. I bet there are only few of them who got hold their btc and sell at exactly 19K USD for other people at that time was selling some of it when BTC market price reach to 15k-17K USD. The hype for bitcoin was the main reason why bitcoin has a high market price value.

Now that the demands for bitcoin is low then definitely bitcoin market price is down also. Just wait for some time that bitcoin will going to go hype if it will going to happen then for sure there will be a good market price increase in that period for bitcoin.

It is because they believe that in the long term the price will go up, it increased to 20k because of media hype in the first place not an organic growth so it's not weird to see the bubble pop, right now we are still in the downtrend but it won't go forever as the potential of bitcoin and crypto is still there thus in the long term the price will go up again. People who invest in the long term won't matter short term price that much and right now is considered good entry point.

Of course no one should lose their money.
In my opinion, those investors are thinking about a very long term. For example, bitcoin may reach 100k in 10 years.
Therefore, buying bitcoin at 10k could be very expensive today but in a term of 10 years ahead, they will be the ones who win a lot.
Those people should be very experienced investors who have discipline of buying and holding without hesitance.

People keep on investing in bitcoin eventhough they might lose some of their money because they still believe that investing im bitcoin will make them gain more profit or more money. Also, the investors know that in investments you either gain or lose money because that is the rule of it. Investment is a gamble. It requires a risk.

For me, I think that the investors will invest whether they lose or gain is because they believe in bitcoin. They believe this is the big change in our financial system, that it is the future of money and as early as now, it is better to invest and the great rewards will be reap tomorrow.

How short-sighted approach!

Price go up, more "investors in" means more people to lose money. And don´t compare it with regular stocks, where company has healthy business behind and all participants may win from its growth.

Well as long as the price still swinging and there is potential of the price go up, then investors will keep on investing, and the price fall down is the risk becoming investors, so nothing is really uncommon to see the investors still investing in bitcoin and many people still predicted that bitcoin will grow bigger in the future, so I think it's still profitable to invest in bitcoin
