The reason is crashing, its because  they were waiting on news from Gox and being that we haven't received them, means that most likely the Insolvent rumors are correct.

Which this means that people trust on Bitcoin will diminish more.

Allot of user thought that Gox will come back, but been days.

if it goes < 500 you can worry
If it goes < 500 I'm placing a huge freaking buy order.  Smiley
So, it was under 500 on Sunday, did you buy at all?  Smiley  I was tempted too....wish I did now!
Had I been watching, I would have.

I really like when someone calls $580 a "crashing" price for Bitcoin. It means the mainstream price is way higher. Brighter future! Grin

Feels like someone is trying to keep the price to ~570 while he dumps his coins when the buy orders pile up then pump it again Grin Grin Grin

Jesus fuck me sideways.

It went down $22 and you say it's crashing?

Now I see how the mind of a panic seller works, ridiculous.

I'm new to the run... i buyed @ 1100 and i'm hodling like shit, but i saw a clear correction on the graph and so i was asking if it was related to some news... and i found them.

Bitcoin lost 30% of its  fiat market-cap only during the last month, i'm glad you buyed so much cheap but i would say it crashed pretty bad in mine point of view.

Well, than it sure did. Hold is all I can say.

It feels like shit having coins worth half the amount of which you purchased them, but remember that Bitcoin is very trigger happy at the moment.

Brave to buy at $1100, I would not have done so in such early stage.

Hodl.

MK... the frapuccino that rocked our world.   Grin   ... Seriously he shows all the signs of a sociopath: zero guilt, zero taking responsibility for own actions and omissions.

Am i missing something?

You need to have patience, bro.

The Gox issue is not over yet.  This is not a fast game.

If they have lost the private key, I am sure all concerned investors could help crack them Smiley

That is impossible, and if possible it would kill the bitcoin.

Gox seem to control more coins than declared: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/the-ghost-in-the-machine-at-mtgox/#.UxAaS0NXZc8 , he's either scamming or somehow he lost the control of the addresses.

Also, he declares bankruptcy for "only" 64 mln usd, meaning that for gox btc are valued nothing. I think this is the greatest news of today.

I hate gox everyday more.

I would guess the bankruptcy filed my MT.GOX has caused some this. And a large sell off of the coins stolen from them and silk road have also added to it.

Thank you, i'm reading now about the official bankruptcy.
I'm not sure the large selling is related to stolen coins tough, i'm somehow convinced they lost the private keys or the control of private keys (but i have only some clues, like the gox supposed addresses and the unlikely of someone capable to empty 99% of gox cold wallets)
