Much easier to use than slack and it does have better features than telegram and slack combined.Of course telegram is for security wise much better.People can create channels, assign roles, and a lot of things hence the increase in usage
No idea, I actually can’t stand Discord. I find Telegram much better but then can understand why some groups need multiple channels.
In my opinion, Discord is so popular cause his very good and free option!
Discord is popular because of its simple interface , easy to use and people like that. Thats why iphone is so popular too and people see them as the holy grail
The discord has been more populated since the all gammers are using it for voice chat and its more advanced as telegram. The telegram can never be as discord in my opinion they use it for just chat havent heard that they use for voice calls or something because is dump is like Viber lol
which I know, people often use discord for games/or some fandom. and also the features of discord are pretty much as well.
Most probably because its quite easy to setup chatrooms and popular games are also utilizing it as some communication channel.
I aso remember that it's also a scam paradise because chatrooms can be deleted without a trace.

It's a very great platform for people to communicate. It also has a very fun interface.
my opinion discord is good and bad at same time . It is very help-full for community because we can create servers with different spaces , make chat with other members. however , it is sometimes easy to scam , we cannot control it . Compared to telegram , which is easy to control. But , for me , discord is more better.
Discord most popular because৷ It can be used to talk in a very good voice massage.But I think it's best for gaming,I've seen a lot of people use it just for gaming,And there are many good projects to be found in Discord.And many people have made a very good amount of money. Discord is what we use when I play with my friends. Most of the time, we play dota 2 and if there's something wrong with in-game mic.We use discord, very easy to use. Well, slack and discord weren't popular as before until gamers use them.

What have scams to do with anything? Youtube is full of scams and people still use it.
In Telegram all you have to do is ignore any messages from random strangers saying "hi", and in the event they send you an unsolicited link/ad/referral you push the block button with the report spam function. When enough people do that the account gets penalized days in read only mode on first offense.
If you are in private group and your privacy settings are done correctly, such thing never happens.
To me Discord takes ages to load while TG desktop is instant. Of course whatsapp is worse, there can't ever be anything worse than that.

Really, I do not know why it is popular. I have installed the desktop version and after a few days of using it, I realized that Telegram is much better for communicating and Slack is better to have a team communication related to the particular project or work process. That's why I have thought about how to remove Discord and have already deleted it. But, maybe it will be good to try to use it again. Maybe I have not fully tried all of its features and abilities.
Discord have what all the other popular chats have and that's make it so good imo.
You have channels/rooms like we had in IRC back in the days. Personally my favorite feature mainly from nostalgia.

One other feature I really enjoy in Discord are the music bots. You get free music all the time from playlist - it's like spotify just included in Discord. And you don't need any premium version - it's all free and without ads. I can recommend Discord for anyone.

slack now hardly anyone uses it anymore is full of scammers and maybe viruses, telegram is great and I use it with pleasure, but discord is superior because it offers voice channels and can only be accessed by invitation so it offers a higher degree of privacy
Telegram has private groups as well. I'm not really a fan of voice channels, but i imagine that is the same thing as mumble or teamspeak since Discord has always been game oriented.
