The reason Ethereum is only $730 is because people aren't willing to pay more for it!
If it was in greater demand or less supply - then people would pay more for it and the price would increase.

I expected 1000 usd for ETH until 2018. But today we can say it won't happen. Bitcoin price certainly affected, but other coins like ripple and cardano are still growing nevertheless.
Ethereum have a good foundation, that is why i believe that price can go to
much more then $1000. I bought Ethereum and now I wait some really high price,
and before that come`s I will try to buy couple more Ethereum coins.
I think Ethereum will do in some of the next years same as Bitcoin did this year.

Well, there are several reasons for this. The main thing is of course - Ethereum is infinite, because of what the price can not grow as well as in bitcoin. The second one is not an ideal system, because if problem in one chain, everything else is blocked.
Well because so many project launched their product on the ethereum platform so I think for now ETH will be stable at price for some time. But I'm sure that in 2018 , eth will surpass the 1k$ target. Until then , happy new year guys.

Have many Good coin not raise value too fast like ETH. But i think 2018 will be year of Ethereum . I am big fan of ETH
One reason can be that ETH does not have any theoretical max cap. There can be infinite ETH, until the technology does not allow new ETH to be produced. Secondly, unlike Bitcoin it is not a store of value, and there is enough ETH in the market. So prices are reasonable. And lastly, scaling issues. Scaling problem is actually the main issue. If Eth can get past it, then prices will go insane.
