people are taking different meaning of slow word as per their thinking .
some are talking about its slow movement in terms of price on cmc ,
some are talking about its slow network in terms of so many pending txn and high gas fee ..
later one is really serious problem , it gives so much pain when gas goes so high .

it depends to many reasons. if you would like to have some altcoins which are fast, you can have easily. but their losses going to be fast, too.

ETH is slow since it's not as popular as Bitcoin which makes less volatility. Add in its market cap and it means that it's difficult to move prices up or down.
I think Ethereum is charging now as it breaks its silence since it goes too slow last year and now reaches 1,000$+ and it also climbs back on top next to bitcoin when Ripple surpasses its market capitalization lately. Maybe the reason why eth is so slow lately is because of what its founder have said lately about ETHEREUM.

The transaction is slow because of your very low gas price. You could atleast put 5000 gwei or more to expect fast and upright transaction speed.
ethereum is overvalued and has too high tx costs, what cause most of this is the stupid coinmarket cap ranking that is brainwashing everyone,
its time we can establish alternatives to it

I don't thinkits slow, after all it reaches its highest price. for all the Ethereum supporters I know that you're all cheering for Ethereum. Yes, every one of us are all happy and still hoping that Ethereum goes up more. I believe that it will beat bitcoin in the future.

I am doing trades on ehterdelta where the default gas price is 4 Gwei. The network in the last few days is terribly slow I remember 1 week ago I was making trades on 1 Gwei and even 0.1 and the transactions were done within minutes, now with 4 Gwei I have to wait like 20 minutes and sometimes the transactions get canceled. My question is what is the reason for this? Is it temporary or it will be like this for the near future?
