It's either they want to take the profit or they are afraid of losing more of their investment. Most people here are speculators and only care  about the USD value of Bitcoin and not its real value as a currency to be used globally with the safety of the blockchain and cryptography.
Well if today they are selling for the sake of profit then they should know that it is not good time to sell, if they will sell right now then they will only lose or if get then will get smaller than what they can earn holding for long time, I think wise and experience people will never sell their bitcoin but only those are selling who are not sure about bitcoin and they are in doubt either they will earn or not so don’t put any doubt, trust bitcoin and you will earn very high.

I don't know why people got panic so easily. People are currently dumping massive coins in the market because of China's action to regulate Bitcoin. What do you think people should do instead of dumping their coins just like that in the market that lead to damage the value of bitcoin?
The best they can do is be patient and hold what they have panicking is not good it give you more stress if your always panicking. Even China regulates I think is not a big damage to bitcoin so we don't need to be panic.

I think they are not dumping bitcoin but they are panic because of bitcoin price is down too deep and they cannot hold any longer and I think they are making a mistake for this. maybe they don't learn that bitcoin is always like this and will increase again soon after the down of the price and they will regret to selling their bitcoin. but if they have a good reason to sell their bitcoin, I think they have another plan to sell their bitcoin and they are expecting to buy bitcoin at lower price.
This is absolutely true, A lot of people who own bitcoin, If they saw that bitcoin's price fall to much, they start to be panic and go quick to sell their bitcoin for a low value in fiat, Which it's a very bad decision by them, I don't blame anyone to sell his bitcoin with a low price, maybe they are newbie and new in this community. They should learn from their mistakes and do not repeat the same mistake again.

Certainly there are users who believe negative news and sell their coins, but the crypto currency market depends on many factors, and there are big players who, with the help of large capital, can speculatively reduce prices and influence some coins on the market.

Not everybody is dumping bitcoin, there are some truly that dump bitcoin because of the value of bitcoin that is going lower and lower, but not everybody some are just holding their bitcoin and waiting for the right time to make some movements about their bitcoin in their wallet.
Panic selling is the most common reason behind the downfall in the market value of any of the crypto coin and that the ones who are newbies are the major contributors in this. Most of the investors who have invested their money into it find it very much difficult to keep their nerves under their control and hence make such foolish decision which not only results in loss of money but also results in the depreciation in the market value of the coin.

People must learn to behave in the market. Most of those people who drop their coins are newcomers who came for quick money, believing in a fairy tale about wealth. But this does not happen, the Crypto currency market has its own laws, which must be pehfnm and adapt to them.

You can see that the market is in a deep crisis, bitcoin prices in the past three months have been continuously depreciated, and now lose nearly 70% of the value. I believe that you should sell bitcoin at the moment, bitcoin prices are showing signs of a sharp fall and investment funds are beginning to run away from the market.

I think this is all because of the FUDs spreading like crazy in the past months and plus the chart the price movement of bitcoin is really bearish so people will really not help them selves and will really save their money first but eventually this will all pass and bitcoin's price will return back and will push its price to a new all time high.

People were attract to dump their Bitcoins and other Altcoins everytime that there is a huge movement of selling in the market in which i believed that mostly were facilitated by the big whales as they have mastered the sell high and buy low strategy. Like what happen in the latest ultimate dip in which we thought it was a corrections but later on it was revealed that it was done by Mt.Gox trustee. Now i'm waiting for these big whales to step up and pump the market so that we could ride on to their games too.

The price of bitcoins and every other cryptocurrency in the market are all based on supply and demand so its normal for the price of your coins to decrease sometimes and the volatility of the market is the reason why cryptocurrency is very profitable.

Prices are finally going up a bit and believe it or not there are people who have placed an $8k mark as a point where they will sell their bitcoins and they do not want to watch the prices go down again so they are dumping and leaving the market. Which means prices will probably go further down this week before it starts to recover again.

Dumping are dependable on the situation but for those past days dumpings are happen due to those google, mt.Gox and other more. But for now since the price go stable and the panic goes down maybe those people who sell their coins are in need with quick bucks but I'm sure that they not huge whales since they doesn't affect so much to the price of the bitcoins.

It would be interesting to make a repeat vote, how many people in a panic dropped their bitcoins as a consequence of the price drop and sinking in the market

China is still actively blocking and banning websites for cryptocurrencies. The article on the net that I have read explains that China was doing this to prevent financial risks for China. China having one of the largest users of cryptocurrencies created an impact on bitcoin prices as many are dumping their coins. This actions by china could clearly created fear among its users. So this could be the reason why so many are dumping bitcoin as well because they are no longer gaining and instead the are even losing due to panic selling.
