the price increased significantly so they have to be dumped in order to get back to the normal. Do not worry much about that Wink

If you know the predictions and read the charts, I do not think it should be thrown away, may have to wait a few days or a few more weeks to come back as stable for it
many amateurs traders who are not familiar with how bitcoin and crytocurrency pricing work are selling their coins out of panic and most of them are even selling at lost. Every thing is on red because it can not be green forever and cannot be red forever.

Okay, so a few days ago (this Saturday) we have seen a terrible picture on coinmarketcap, for all the currencies were red (the price went down and so did capitalization). I thought the reason was coinbase and some big technical issues there. Yesterday everything was slowly getting back to normal. Almost all of the currencies went 'green'. Why is everything red again? Is it really some big problems with altcoins? Is it the end of big pump? Or maybe it is just the continuation of unexperienced panic sellers that started 2 days ago?

If you've played Altcoin many times, you know, about Altcoin all red, maybe this is a very high Bitcoin impact, so I do not think there's anything to worry about because this is just the impact of higher Bitcoin prices. So all Altcoin in the market becomes red.
But bitcoin doesn't influence the price of altcoins directly. I tend to agree more with people who say that it is due to lots of new people and their panic sellings.
Bitcoin was also really down on Saturday, whereas when it hit $2000 for the first time, ethereum grew in price as well. Sometimes btc grows along with alts, sometimes it grows and alts go down. No connection here.

I myself do not see many coins change color to red, I just see from a few coins that change color to red. So I'm not really concerned about the color of bitcoin turning red because I think it happens very often in the crypto world, a person who just started trading might panic with this situation, but I'm sure the bitcoin color will turn green again.
That's for sure, Bitcoin will be green again, Look at the last year's Bitcoin always experience price increases and maybe next year bitcoin will also be green again.

At the weekend it is difficult to define with certainty the path that the market will take, the trading volume is much lower compared to other days.
At the beginning of the week is when we can see what direction the market will actually take... and that's what it seems to be, there is a strong tendency that the altcoins will continue to fall in price, and as Bitcoin becomes closer to adopting SegWit, things will look worst for most alts.

You should browse more price history of altcoin few years ago and then you can see that there are more terrible dump in the past rather than we are experiencing now. Don't be panic on red. The majority of coins now are backup with million dollar funds unlike in the past that full of shit. There is no reason to panic unless you invest on shitcoin.

Yeah at first even i felt it to be weird as normally what happens is bitcoin is green and altcoins are red or altcoins are green and bitcoin is read , but in this situation everything is red. I did a bit fo researched and found out many people are removing there money from crypto and many chinese investors have also withdrawn everything. It may take few weeks to be back to normal

it's time for price correction, and for vacation, investors dump for profit and use the money to have fun, winter is for pump and summer for dump, but i think maybe we see some expection later in summer, some coin will get a pump for sure, another possible reason is that bitcoin was dumped and altcoin follow bitcoin, beacuse to sell bitcoin, if you have altcoin, you need to sell your alt first

During the days of bitcoin increasing gradually the price of altcoins too was experiencing a good pump in price. Now while the price crash took place the altcoins seems to be stable with uptrend and now when bitcoin starts to retain the value once again the red mark is found over the altcoin.

Many speculate about bitcoin prices will drop dramatically. They make sales because the bitcoin panic will continue to fall. Yesterday the market was very unpredictable, when the rise in btc should be Altcoin could bleed. Even when btc goes down altcoin also goes down. Many beginner traders are confused. It takes courage to take the current position of buying or holding until there is a pump again.

as many have been warning for the past 2 weeks the altcoin market is in a gigantic bubble and this bubble is bursting. and with that comes the dump and the red you see.
here is what happens.
- at first whales dump a big amount to get out most of their money
- then the panic sells start and price crashes hard, it can even be -50%
- at that point when it is proved that it is the bottom, traders buy for a short term profit and price jumps back up
- they surely will dump it fast because they know it is a dying market and get out for a secondary profit.
- now the price continues dumping faster.

Yup. The market is weak right now. I think because of the season. This is summer season. I think this affects the market movement. Not only altcoins are dumping but also bitcoin. But this time is good tho. More cheaper altcoin to buy. But only buy only 50% of your capital because its not stable yet.

To add:

Buy only so much as you are prepared to loose. If you can't loose it, don't do it.
That's one of the basics for investments in general, but for this volatile investments it is even more applicable.

1) Bitcoin is volatile
2) Altcoins are even more volatile
3) Many newcomers came into the market(s)
4) Panic selling (every friday, now bigger and longer)

And did I already mention the coins are volatile?

Don't panic, look to the big picture here. Now there are red numbers (although there are green numbers also), another time there are green ones. Don't look at one single day or a single week, look at the charts and you will see a high volatility but in the long run a steady rise.

Events like that lately often happen altcoin many of which go down the value so often red even just altcoin btc also experienced the same thing, In my opinion too so many sellers are panicked so that the market price is unstable even often decrease in appeal price increase.
