Gambling is addicting because it feels good, you fell happy and content when you are playing and most of the time if you lose your entire money then you are sad since being sad is a bad feeling the brain wants to get happy again and that means for some gambling again, that is the way to cycle begins.
Major causes of gambling addiction is:
- Many people have trouble in life and they see gambling as a way to get out of a difficulty
- A lack of entertainment area suiting with their interests, so many people have to gamble
- Gambling is a way to escape the problem (alone, lonely, bored, ...)
- Many people think that gamble will have a lot of money
- No job, unemployment
- Feel get money from gambling is easier than go to work
- Lack of love and care from the family
- Difficult to integrate in the society
Thanks for listing some major reasons why people become addicted to gambling. wow, I can not imagine that lack of love and care from the family can make a person addicted. In fact, nowadays the games are designed in such a way that it does not requires you to understand anything and you just move with the flow. Gambling becomes addictive when you don't know when to give up. You need to be psyched up before you indulge in any form of gambling especially sports betting that you can expect the worst bit it seems a lot of betting victims get caught into betting more and over and over in a bid to regain their list money and this gets you going and never stopping and will eventually lead to addiction.
First, gambling is a very fun and exciting thing to do. And most addictions are from things that would really get your interest.
