Why would an average joe want to mine? It's not as easy as it sounds.

Why do I need to download a program and write a command line with a dozen arguments that are poorly documented just to kick off a mining script?!  Hasn't anyone figured out a way to make this easier for the average Joe?

The only thing hard here is my dick when your mother sends me nudes.

OP should also realize that he is going up against huge mining farms in China as well as other parts of the world. There is a huge amount of competition for the top POW coins.

There are plug and play mining rigs like the antminer, but they are semi expensive and sometimes sold out.

Look into mining pools where you share the profits. You can also get coins by holding the ones using the Proof of Stake technology.

Difficulty automatically adjusts to target a block rate of 1 block every 10 minutes on average. No one is torturing miners with high hashes, it's the other way around: miners are coming up with so many hashes, difficulty must rise in order to rate-limit the blocks.

If easy minging the coin will have good price? If easy Mining the quantity sure be huge, base the big huge quantity, price will be very lower, so under the quantity total is limited , the rule is like this the rest mining will less and be more and more hardness!

Why does someone make a new profile to write complete and utter shot on a forum? Why do numbers go across my screen when I boot up my PC.

Poorly documentes? No yur brain just doesn't work.

There is nothing difficult it is very easy. Oh good luck mining off your PC btw. I'm sure you will make lots.

Agree with most others here.  Start with nicehash.  See how it works for a bit.  Then stretch out a bit.  Find a coin you want, find the associated pool, and follow their setup guide.  Most pools give you the basic setup.  Once you are comfortable with that, then move on to fine tuning your gpu to maximize hash rate.

Because many people start to mining for last years. Try to mine new coins - it will be easy.

The beginning always has to be the hardest. Getting our butts out to learn and pick up new stuff can be hectic for someone lazy. But if you have the determination to make it succeed then it won't be so difficult after all. It can be a fun process if you are doing it with passion

I'm afraid without hard work you won't get high reward. Just admit it and move on

just go to nicehash
all you have to do just press some buttons few times
oh, or there is another way to earn money - just ask your parents to give you some money, very easy, indeed
and there is more harder way then mining - go to work and work from 9 am to 18 pm

Or ask your mother to come over to my house.  I have some things she could do to earn extra money. Lol.

I think the difficulty is part of what makes it interesting. Think about a puzzle. Would you really want to do one that had like 4 big pieces? That would be boring, right?

Start it off as a hobby to learn something new - it's great to get those new neurological pathways firing up.

No it's not plug and play like everyone said, but there are loads and loads and loads of tutorials and after going through those step by steps most folks will be a-ok.

We have a great community of very knowledgeable people that are willing to share and guide others, but don't expect to be spoon fed, as with anything read learn read learn read read read read, keep reading.

I feel it's very rewarding, and I'm not talking about monetarily, just the cool things you pick up through the journey are great.

Really dude...?

Downloading a program and writing a command line with a dozen arguments is not hard.  if you finished high school at least.

I mean... really?

I'm sure it is easy for some but it is intimidating to others.

Thanks to those who provided advice!
