this guy is a legend, all those coins he stole holy crap
And then to think I got all my coins of that shit site the day before it happened, and why is this guy not arrested? I've seen media reports of him interviewed so they know who he is... Hmm

But he's allowed to change his name to anything, isn't he?  Wink

Not exactly anything. If he changes his name to impersonate theymos, he may get banned. Wink
I didn't ask that, I was specific about TF.
What are you talking about? 'Free hugs! ♥' = impersonating theymos? Okay.

 Huh
I didn't say that he is impersonating theymos.
I was saying he is not allowed to change his name to whatever he want, and gave one possible example.

He probably sold his account to some attention seeking troll.

I thought trolling was against the rules? Why not ban his account?

Buddy, if those were the rules, I should've been banned in May.

No it is just rules for selected people...

I'm pretty sure he will get banned. Didn't this happen before? I would assume someone would just slap on 'Theymos' and act like the real one.

I think the account was hacked rather than sold. Who would want to buy an account with that much negative rep? No one will take his comments seriously, he can only use it to spam and troll... and that's what he is doing now.

Congrats. You just answered your own question.

Who knows maybe it is him must be bored now that all the bitcoins are gone.

who says the bitcoins are gone? i'm pretty sure he orchestrated the whole thing. typical web wallet scam. then just slink off into the darkness and let people forget -- because when has the BTC community ever bothered rooting out scammers and thieves? never....

I thought he severed all links to his account, alias, and the bitcoin community after the inputs hack.
