You need to be actively browsing new pages for your total time to increase. If you are idle for 10-15 minutes, then the total time will stay the same. Try logging out and then re-logging in and browse for 10-15 minute periods, then take a break and then repeat the process.

Just actively browse forum like me or install a auto refresh plugin in mozilla/opera.

I think if you leave it idle for more than 5 mins it stops counting.

I went to the index and jumped pages 10 or 15 times every once and awhile.  It still took over 24 hours in front of the computer

yea i dont get this either i've spent forever, like nearly a month (albeit only so much at a time, but nonetheless) on this site and it has me at 2 hours.

I've heard this system can be beaten by having autorefresh on, which I think is kind of a silly flaw.

You need to be actively reading / replying. If you just open the website & leave it there, the time will stop ticking.
