One of the reasons I'm writing this post is because most people complained about missing BOME. Ok, here is another one "$SNAP" It just went live on Bitget just as BOME did and another one IQ50 will be listed any time soon. You know what memes are made for? HYPES!! As is listed, it will be hyped. So, play your game well and don't be a liquidity... If you notice the price has top, just leave it!!
I wanted to tell you that I read new news related to the IQ50 coin through their official account on X in this [tweet], and they mentioned that their coin has already been listed on MEXC, Bitget, and Hotcoin Global.

Congratulations! If you invested in this coin or the ones you mentioned before listing, their prices skyrocketed. Meme coins are a beloved game for whales; they can manipulate the currency's price with their capital as they please. I hope OP will try to control your greed. If you have made profits from this coin or the ones of the mentioned coins, you might end up losing everything you earned in another new coin you invested in. Because this does not mean that most of these projects teams' promises for listings will be sincere in the future, do not let the love of getting rich and collecting wealth quickly through shitcoins make you not see the risks to which your capital is exposed. You are investing in nothing and living on some hopes. There are real projects and tokens that are worth this risk. Don't waste your time on these memes.

If it's a cryptocurrency other than bitcoin, it's likely called an altcoin, whether it's meme coins or serious projects. Predicting the next big thing after bome is challenging, but to earn significant profits, we must take risks and invest in meme coins. There could be many more projects like bome waiting to be discovered in their early stages, offering lucrative opportunities for early investors keen on seizing the potential of emerging trends in the crypto market.
The hype with the meme tokens is undeniably high, and of course its seasonal so it's really hard to predict the next big project.
If you are into meme tokens, better not to expect that much and just invest what you can afford to lose since meme tokens can also become a scam project. It's already a bull market, and there's a lot of hype already with the meme tokens, so make sure to be cautious and don't chase any hype, just wait for the right timing for you to buy.

You know it is not a statement that can be agreed upon 100% that a meme coin is better than alt coin .Basically I think you have only you  gone through some good meme coin projects that have a successful future but I don't think so that you know about the meme coins that had you know catastrophic affects on the portfolios of some investors. They just came around by hearing something like this resulting into a investment into a meme coin and then lost their Assets and their portfolio was destroyed. There are many examples of it to support this yes there are some coins that may do well into the market but there are very less of the examples .

A meme coin is always ambiguous, it may perform well or it may not so you have to take certain risks if you want to invest into the meme coin. Alt coins on the other hands you know have a good probability of giving you good profits so if you can get an example of hundred meme coins only 10 of them may perform but if you get the sample of 100 alt coins I think so 80 of them will perform well and will give you good profits on investments.

Yup, I did gained from BOME. But, I completely I understand your point. Memecoins shouldn't be a thing we ape into during the hype. Rather, is best to go in when the hype is very minimal as that's what memecoins depends on
You still can't guarantee here. No one knows what the next action especially if it is memecoins which we all know are very volatile.
Sometimes jumping during hype can still make you profitable because you already know it can still go higher.

What's really important here is when, and where we exit or in short take profits because we already saw a lot of meme coins will pump then dump immediately.

crypto space especially the meme ones are full of degens that tried to speculate so hard and the result is meme coin, they are really eager to find that chance to flip their money into millions even though the chance is slim.
from what I see they are willing to do that because they know if they happened to encounter some random meme coin that suddenly reaching 1 billion market cap they are settled for life since they try to invest as early as possible.
usually they are even trying to look out for newly generated ERC20 smart contract or token in solana and will try to snipe theme so I guess thats the overall reason.
the thing with slerf though the dev mistakenly burn all the presale tokens so everyone that speculates with meme coin think this coin will never get dumped by the presalers and therefore why its so hot right now.
but can't believe that bybit just gonna outright list this coin at some point if thats true.

I want to answer this very common question. And it's true, almost every meme coin project (though not all of them) will definitely skyrocket in price. And this is where it gets interesting, because with this very skyrocketing price, it is able to attract a lot of attention. Not only that, usually meme coins will be treated with a lot of hype, so that the meme coins become known to more and more people and are interested in getting into them. In essence, hype can really make people FOMO and projects skyrocket significantly.

However, this is actually not recommended for beginners who don't know when is the right time to buy meme coins. because if you are late, you will actually lose so much money. Because usually, meme coins that are already at the peak of their glory or price, will fall and it is quite difficult to get to the peak price again. It's usually like that.
Unsettling – yes, it is unsettling. I hope many people don't get caught up in the hype and that they only invest the amount they can afford to lose. Memecoin has no potential future - mainly because the product is just riding on the hype. Short-term traders may make quick profits from it - but long-term investors should be able to avoid holding too many coins and stocking them in their investment portfolio.

I'm not against memecoin and its existence - but just understand it as a product that will be abandoned once the whales sell it. Of course there are many millionaires from memecoin especially those who managed to buy it at the initial price - but anyone who bought it high, it is very possible for them to be stuck in it for a very long time.

Another SLERF meme coin that has only been created a few days was able to penetrate major exchanges and the news is that Bybit has notified about this meme to be traded?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/slerf/
https://twitter.com/Bybit_Web3/status/1769653675562279304

It's crazy that now memes are more favored by investors, is it because of the special early long-term hype? If you miss and buy already high then don't ever hope to buy this like gambling you won't even be able to recover if it has lost its value, but the fomo coin meme is still happening until now.
I feel meme coin should be taken a bit serious in this bull run considering the unending hype and the fact that most top CEXes including Binance, Bitget and Bybit listing some selected potential ones.

I thought this was the one

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/snap-sol/

There is no Bitget yet. Can you post more information about this?

Yes I do have the information. I don't know if you know about Coincarp. The site usually set to list coins that gets listed and cex that listed it. You can confirm it here
https://www.coincarp.com/exchange/announcement/bitget-12560603806712/

Good to see someone also using coincarp to monitor early listing of potential coin. In fact I discovered Bitget get and few other exchanges good at early listing on that platform. I may have missed out on this IQ50 but if it's on Solana I will look into it to look for an opportunity.

Is there any specific reason for that? Elon is going to adapt all the meme projects, like Doge? So why is actually the meme project in sol pumping? I think it was a clever strategy by the sol marketing team to use meme project to create hype in their ecosystem to attract retail investors to it. A well-defined concept requires time to establish, while a meme project doesn't. So you can create a new meme project every week and pump it up with a massive gain by controlling the supply. A very genius plan by their marketing team. It started with airdrops and is going with memes. What will be next, and how much funding are they left to pump all these project?

Well, memecoins are still called altcoin cause they're all alternative coin, mixing things up with an argument is not right. I don't see any special value in memecoins but the coin indeed has this hype and investors seems to take advantage during the hype, it's mostly favorable for investors who have the mindset of getting rich quick within a short period of time or else why will an investor hold memecoin for long term run.

People love buying meme coins because they want to get rich quickly. You can get rich quickly now if you buy Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is now $70,000, so even if it reaches $140,000, it just doubles their assets. But what if their assets are only around $100-$1,000? That's not much. So they buy meme coins hoping to get rich quickly. Like I remember a man who bought $100 worth of Shiba Inu at the start and then made around $5 million. Besides, some whales want to hype trending memes to spread crypto to everyone

Basically memecoin is a part of Altcoin, with an emphasis on jokes and virality.  Maybe you are lucky to get a profit from your investment in Memecoin, but I'm not too interested in Memecoin.  For me, Memecoin is just taking advantage of the hype to move and just for fun.  There are no special characteristics or utilities, and no strong base that will make it viable for a long time.  Please be careful about your investment in memecoin.

You can keep suggesting whatever you want but that will not make it better, it is not going to even matter so there is nothing wrong with that. I think we should be careful with these type of promotions because lets be honest it is exactly this reason why they pump. The name is giving it, it is a "pump", meaning that it doesn't just go up to go up, it goes up to go down quickly.

This is a pump and dump scheme as well, people who create these stuff want to just give it away and that is the most important part, I do not think that it means anything at all. We should be considering this to be a problem and because of that I feel like it is going to be a bit of a trouble with time as well. Just avoid memes if you could please to protect your money.

who knows the peak price of a newly listed meme coin on an exchange? Some memecoins make a pump when they are just trading, then crash losing their price. but some continue to make the pump then become stable.
every meme project that has strong support from the community will grow in the market. no matter how long it takes, but still be careful and immediately take advantage and porgi. don't expect too much.

I think we all like to make money and initially I had the thought to buy a couple of memecoins and maybe I get lucky (this was a couple of years ago). Offcourse ended up buying shiba inu and despite the rise the last couple of weeks, I still have a loss of -60%. While you can always get lucky, but then you need to get in very early and also know when it is time to cashout.

You know that feeling when your friends tell a joke and you don’t get it?

Yeah well that is something a lot of people don’t want to feel so they
always make sure to be on top of everything. Memes are jokes that are time relevant
and trending and if you are someone who is always online, it would be an embarrassment to not know these memes.

Needless to say memes get a lot of attention and so the reason why memecoins are hyped at their first launch but as time goes by just dies. But if you could take advantage of this hype, then go do it  Wink

Well you can say is not a financial advise but you already talked about them so there is every possibility for people to go check out those project and if they finds it interesting they might decides to invest in it but as said whatever that happens with their investment you aren't meant to hold responsible for any reason and that is true, whatever coin or shitcoin that is listed out their in any exchange we should apply deligent because not all coin or project that worth investing some of them can worth nothing after making your investment. If could recall correctly I have wasted lot of my money jumping from altcoin to altcoins so I decided to just sticked on those reputable coin and even if I must invest in any new project (coin) then exchange to list will be another factor to be considered.

I wrote a post yesterday about meme coins doing better than Alt. There was a pretty good argument that memes are also altcoins. But you know, we won't dig further into this.

An altcoin is anything that is not bitcoin. So technically, everything else that is not bitcoin is an altcoin, regardless of token category.

But yea, memecoins pumping isn't really a surprise, because bull markets always bring out lots of stupidity and ridiculousness. Just make sure to exit when things get too exhausted.
Exactly you have said it all. Any cryptocurrency that is not if Bitcoin is categorized as altcoins be a memecoins, shitcoins they are all at the category of altcoins therefore Op and other should know this in their mind that all coins are altcoins except Bitcoin.

And people investing and making memecoins to pump because it give fast money. You that people like quick money and memecoins gives them that quick money but it doesn't last and most live shortly.
