I don't think so that most of the bitcoin users where on russia ,but as i've observe many HYIPs are russian made .

On my own opinion most btc users are from china because of its creator of satoshi .also the factor that there are more advance unlike russians.

I thought that the Chinees where the biggest group that make use of Bitcoin. Maybe because of the fact that Russia is a big country and has allot of people I do not know why most Bitcoin users are Russian but someone has to be in the majority.

I think most of the bitcoin users are Americans. It is much more used and discussed there. There are also a lot more exchanges that are based in the U.S. Also, there are lots of Americans in different parts of the world.

I think almost all of people here hide their true identity and i think not almost russian is bitcoin user.

I'm from Russia.
And I, and most people are very poor (the thieves and crooks in the government are destroying the country's economy), and Bitcoin for us this is part additional earnings.
Another reason is paranoid the government's desire to control everything and everyone. In Russia there is a religious and political inquisition, that is a negative comment towards lawlessness authorities, or repost, or like in social networks, can condemn and imprison or condemn arbitrary, and because of this block the bank account or bank card thereby depriving the people's livelihood. And this is one of the reasons for the use of uncontrolled ,by nasty government, Bitcoins.

I think because russia is a big country and one of the most populated country on our planet.And there are also terrorist there so maybe they use bitcoins for illegal things such as paying a killer or buying drugs,buying high graded weapons and others.Maybe thats the reason why russian peope have the most number of user of bitcoin

which data prove this statement? don't you even consider China as one of the biggest userbase because their Exchange history on few exchanging site go really fast

I think because most of russian use bitcoin to transact in deepweb and russian first known user in bitcoin? But i agree with that China has large no. Of bitcoin user and globally also many other nation or countties use bitcoin for now becausr it is spread slowly.

threads and replies can be made by all, but investigations suggest that most of the bitcoin users are from United States. Also it is false that Russians are scammers, scammers can be seen from all sectors and we can't predict accurately.

Yeah, scammers are around the world. I think every country have a people that scamming people too. And it's not good to generalized all russians are scammers.

Russia is a big country and its citizens have a large number of occupations, and there are the same proportion of good and bad people in every community , so in that the Russains are obvious, just like the Chinese are obvious in physical trade.

I heard that most of the bitcoin users are from United States and European countries. Don't know much about the situation in Russia. As people are more there, may be bitcoin usage is also more.

There are many Russian Bitcoin users because Russia is a big country and they love to gamble. Bitcoin started in Asia and Russia is part of Asia ass well so that can be part of the reason as well.

I was actually having that in my mind, but people always talked that Chinese are the reason why BTC is here, which is why I thought that the numbers are right and Chinese are running BTC because they hold a major % of BTC with them...

He has no proof of this though. Where is he getting those numbers from?

Yes, he did not give any reference of what he said there and with that it is not an info, but opnion of his mind. I like to see the proof of that , please if possible provide some links or another source where we can see it.

I assume this is because Russia under sanctions now,and the ruble is falling, and people are looking for other ways to keep their savings.And the lack of bureaucracy and a quick easy transfer of money in a couple of clicks.

Well, at least I and my brother, for this reason and are interested in Bitcoin.
