When one government is too old in the office, they will try to relax and maybe they could forget the promises they make to the Citizens.
This is why I support change of government because within the few months of the new government, they will try their best to implement good things for the Citizens to enjoy. Another thing is that government is not made up of one family. They are different consistencies and different, if Government changes, development and other things rotate among the constituencies and the states that make up a government.

It is necessary to always have a change of government after a period of time. Reasons been that there’ll always be contrary opinions to what the government does. People will always have a way to criticize them, this only can lead to violence in the country. A change in government can tender calmness in the minds of the public since they know a time will come when the current government will be unseated by another after election.

There are no assurance that new government will lead to better leadership. There are new government that are specialists in looting, corruption, disrespect for human right,etc. It is better for one good ruler to rule for life than to have a bad new government. New government something discontinue some good projects of the past government which leads to waste of resources. Some new government want to start their own project which leads to the abandonment of some viable projects by the past administration. It is okay to have a change of government in a democratic society but a change of government might not lead to better standard of living

Not every country have a tenure system, while some have 4 years tenure systems other have an authoritarian and will rule for as long as possible both are government but in different leadership systems.

-The type of government you are talking about is a democratic system where every elected official has a tenure duration and after their tenure expires the will be another election to elect new power or retain old ones that have proven records and won re-election, this is just the system of practice and it brings diversification of government elected official, and the power to elect is left in the hand of the citizens who are of voting age.

Changing governments is not always the solution, it may be good sometimes in some countries, but also the new government may be worse than the old one, I have witnessed this many times here in my country, each time the new government was worse than the old one.

The problem is not in changing the government or not, and whether the government is young or old. The problem is in the way of thinking here in developing countries in particular. All politicians want access to the government to achieve their personal interests and fill their pockets with voters' money.

My country government is a total chaos. Many of them was incarcerated and corruption is high priority here. Many of us don't trust the election process not even to mention when the vote counting must be conducted. A new Government lol all of the political party wants is to rule the country and see how they can be corrupt. Every political party only wants their hands on the dough. I don't think my country will ever come right with this government we have now.

It's not really about amending the existing laws and policies. That would be some way to destroy all that the nation is built on as each government would fabricate the laws and policies in ways that suits them to not be of any harm should they stray to corrupt practices.

What a new government would do is to come up with an agenda for the time they will spend in office, try to follow it out and properly manage the resources existing in the nation. Creating of laws doesn't solve any issue if the previous laws and policies aren't working.

When we finally elected a real leader that really care for his people, the idea of electing me was not really good because when he finished his term, other projects that he started are not given consideration to finish but instead the next generation will gonna build more project for his name and the old one will be pending until it abandons. This election is not really helping especially when you further look at the situation of the countries where they do this kind of practice, most of them don't improve except for a few. Unlike the monarchy where they really focus on fixing their country because they really care for their citizen and most of their works are intended to promote goodness and improvement for their citizens.

A change of government through election is not a priority to a better governance, that's a sad truth, a new government can either be better or can also be worst, let's take Goodluck Ebele Jonathan regine as an example, most Nigerians thought Goodluck was not doing good as president and they had to vote against Goodluck and gave the power to Muhammadu buhari and his APC excos and from then till now we Nigerians have seen hell on Earth.

And the suffering from buhari and APC government is the reason why we are all running towards the labour party now (peter obi) and sincerely we voting peter obi now is not a priority that Nigeria will be better or not, but we are just trying to give a try only because the former government has failed, which also means that if the former government is doing better, then we won't even need a new government..

There is need for new government always so to compare the one that makes life more easier for citizens. We all know that government varies in the manner of how they present things to yeh public. There some government that would not mind to make life hard for citizens making people to have good reasons for change of government. I could remember during president Trump's tenure, there were surplus money and funds. Americans were living with a better economy compared to now that looks like the country is going into recession. Every government has there benefits.

It’s because we have different preferences which is why any government will always be enough to satisfy all its citizens. You can add too self interest of different politicians and people the supporting each side.

There’s no perfect government that will exist because people will always find a hole on any government especially if they want power and insist their own ideology. This is what makes human unique.
