Well it is currently the second biggest coin out there, has a massive user community around it and even more important and very large and dedicated community of developers which is crtical to the long term success of any coin. You may not like it and yes it has some flaws as you have mentioned but all in all i would still suggest you to hold at least some ether in your portfolio

Althought you give many reasons to recommend not buy Ethereum but I don't total agree with you. In my opinion, this time is the best chance to buy ETH and hold till to the end of year. I think the price of ETH enough cheep to buy now and I always believer the market will come green at the end of year.
