OP is right.

The screenshot which has been taken on August 13, 2021 says that 1413 posts by 192 users deleted.
Thanks, I see it now which means the number of users whose posts were deleted in that thread is decreasing since then till now. But I think we have the answer now that DdmrDdmr quote theymos post.

So I think it's clear by now if the OP really understands the post.  Wink

Is there any chance that you forgot about the actual number for users whose posts were deleted?

I am running Bangladesh Thread since 2014. It is a self-moderated thread to remove spam. I used to keep track of the count at the top of the thread. For some time, I am noticing that the user count is falling.

On December 7, 2021, it was 1523 posts by 197+ users deleted.

On April 23, 2022, it is 1542 posts by 61+ users deleted.

Any reason for this? Are users being deleted from BitcoinTalk database?

Based on ninjastic.space, So far this thread has 7502 posts from 950 users where Little Mouse is the most active poster with 283 posts. I don't know if nuked users or banned users will be lost in the database (especially from the number shown on moderated threads) but I think mod has the right answer for you on this issue as I think that is their realm.

But, theymos quote in DdmrDdmr post seems to have answered your question.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
Perhaps it’s got something to do with this reply (you may need to see the thread for a better context):

The bug exists because old deleted posts are eventually removed from the database, and I didn't account for this when implementing the selfmod stats, so the data on which posts were created by which users is missing for old deleted posts.

The message will now say something like "(9 posts by 1+ users with 3 merit deleted.)". The first and third numbers are accurate, but the second number is imprecise; the second number will actually be "distinct users whose posts were selfmod-deleted and whose deleted posts are not very old and therefore still happen to be in the database." I could add more logging so that an accurate count could still be determined, but I don't think that it's very important to give the absolute correct number here, especially since any recent selfmod activity will still increase the count.
I’m not really too acquainted with self-moderated threads, so I haven’t got enough background on how this looks like over time on a given thread. In fact, I though Merits were still shown on the self-moderated threads, but there are none visible in the OPs thread on the said stats. (probably none involved)
