Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?
holding is the only way to make a huge profits and that's the reason why most of the investors choose to hold for long run because crypto currency is very promising as well.. And for your information most of the holder are professional and knowledgeable about crypto currency, so what do you think why the hell they're holding? Just to waste money? Lmao  they're not stupid bro.. Only noob cant understand why most of the investors prefer to hold instead of gaining quick profits, and you're one of them.  Grin

I just want you to remember that bitcoin and ethereum used to have a value of less than of a dollar. now think about all the people that Hodl their Bitcoin and etheruem from the start. all of them(maybe most) had a life-changing opportunity by holding these cryptocurrencies when the prices of these two cryptocurrencies increased. people know that bitcoin and ethereum are volatile and there is a risk in holding them. now, why are we hodling these cryptocurrencies? it's because of opportunity.

If the field goes up then of course there must be down. As for the price swings which is very normal for me in this market, I always believe that BTC will increase by $100k in the future and my assets will multiply many times now because If the price goes down then I'll buy it. That's why I own BTC Wink

Most people are holding bitcoin or ethereum to make money. Crypto is a new way for us and gives us the chance to make money. Crypto has become booming in this pandemic because people can use their time to search for more info about crypto and use it for their benefit, and the best is they can make money. Bitcoin and the other coins such as ethereum, bnb, and others are not just the way to make money, but they can be new investments in digital money. So that makes people can have a new way to make money. People need to be careful with the news because much negative news happens in the crypto world, and if they are not ready and prepare, they will have the chance to make money.

what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?
I'm holding both of them.
My main reason is I want to invest into different assets including cryptocurrency.

I'm holding it because I want to diversify my money. I want to get involved in the world's decentralized currency. I want to invest into something that isn't backed by anybody but the community. I want to own Bitcoin because I'm expecting some huge returns a few years for now. These are just some of the reasons why I'm owning it Smiley.

Market is down = opportunity to buy. I see FUD or negative news on the internet = good time to buy. Those people who are feeling anxious whenever they see their profits slowly disappearing are the newbies who don't know when to exit or at least they are the ones who aren't ready in the worst case scenario which is the market going down like what happened.

It's simple, I just believe in it's potential for growth and that bitcoin has proven that it's prices despite all of the volatility part of the market, it can still go up to the prices that not a lot of people have expected to land on.

The crypto markets have had an upbeat start to the week, with Bitcoin touching highs of $35,219.89 on Monday morning.

Despite the ongoing regulatory drama that has engulfed the industry — spearheaded by China — the world’s biggest cryptocurrency failed to fall below $30,000 over the weekend.

There have been repeated tests around this level in recent weeks. While some are confident that means Bitcoin has now bottomed out, others fear that a plunge as low as $24,000 cannot be ruled out.

Analysts at JPMorgan are among those sounding a cautious note. They say the short-term outlook for Bitcoin remains “challenging,” yet added that it does like the crypto markets are “beginning the process of healing” after the recent correction.

There's no need to ask myself why I'm holding on. I believe on what I'm holding that there's a future that will be greater than what we've witnessed recently.

It's like the same as asking yourself, why do you need to invest?
Me too, I think that believing in the potential of bitcoin is the only reason why I still own bitcoin, for me the 10 years that bitcoin has been in this world is enough proof that it will stay here and that it's prices will only have one way but to go up.

As the leader of digital currency, Bitcoin will have more application scenarios in the future. Buying Bitcoin now is because of long-term bullishness, but in fact there is still a lot of risk. But I believe that as more and more people realize the value of Bitcoin, they will also participate. I believe that the decentralization concept of Bitcoin will eventually enable you to achieve true freedom. I hope to witness it together.

Why would I not invest in bitcoin if I believe it would become profitable in the near future? I've been in crypto for about four years, and what happened last time is exactly what is happening now, so I'm not concerned about what is occurring since we've previously had the experience. That is why we are still strong in the crypto market; they have the ability to grow profit at any time. In this type of investment, you must be patient; the market is volatile; don't expect a significant return right away; always DYOR.

Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety.
If we still have the coins on the spot exchange, it means that we still have the coins, we don't lose if we don't sell the coins. So, in my opinion, the best way to do it right now if we are still losing on the value is holding. Moreover, if the cut loss decision has been late to do. Holding is better than panicking and selling the coins at a lower price.

And so far, trading is very risky, the market is very very unstable moreover at the weekend. Today, the market is green and many increases are there. But, we don't know what will happen in the next few days. We must be ready for any kinds of probabilities in the crypto market. And I personally like to play with the top coins in order to minimize the risks.

Recently everyone is very anxious

Why are you generalizing? I'm not anxious at all. A year back my bitcoins were worth less than 10000 USD each and now they're 3 times that.
None of the old holders will care about short-term fluctuations because their coins are always worth more than they paid.

I own crypto for safety. Because I prefer to hold money in a digital wallet than in a bank and I like watching them grow in value. Next halving they're going to be worth more than 60 thousand usd and we're going to hopefully have this conversation again Wink

no doubt there's been a lot of bad news lately regarding bitcoin and crypto lately, from elon, china, and now from about binance banned operating in UK .i would say this not small issue this would had huge impact in bitcoin soon and for the future. and for someone who trades bitcoin or a holder majority they only had one goal make profit from it . because most of us believe that bitcoin will be more than it is today.

Who said it is only a downfall that we do see in the market? Why is it that you all never say good about Bitcoin when the price is going up , you all will just keep mute about it, but when the market crashes , then everyone will come out to start showing their frustration and hate  on Bitcoin?

There are also good news about Bitcoin, but you don’t look for them, that’s why you don’t see them, and all you will see is just the bad news, and that’s because bad news travels faster than good news. Just look at how far Bitcoin has come, the price in the last ten years is not what it is now. There was a time Bitcoin was worth less than one dollar, but it is worth over thousands of dollars, isn’t that enough reason for you to buy Bitcoin?
most people do not have a broad perspective, especially if what is being pursued is instant profit to get rich quick, so they do not consider aspects that can affect market movements. finally panic buy, and when stuck at the top then they easily panic and blame the situation.
all the things that started from FOMO, panic, very not good. we should not hurry, learn and understand the ecosystem first is very good for the future. Knowledge is an important investment, not just money.

I was initially very interested in getting a side job from the internet, which I could do anywhere without being bound by a work contract, I wanted the freedom to work. that's why I'm into crypto, there are lots of opportunities to take advantage of here. I can make money only from home.

Just because I have a long-term vision. I don't care about short-term fluctuations in price. I care about what Bitcoin is and how important it will be in the world in the years to come.

I have the same future vision. There's new people born into this world everyday and they are the future blockchain investors because today they are too young right now to invest until they become adults.

There is no debate that there are some brainless jacks who does not know shit about trading jumps into a market hearing that it could get good returns and then burning their savings, this is all too familiar in the cryptocurrency market. If anyone who spends the time to study and learn about the market and learn how to trade will not end up in a loss  Tongue.

We all have sort of reasons why we have decided to get engage into Bitcoin and why we are wanting to own even a small part and make the ultimate goal to even have at least 1 Bitcoin in our life. Many will tell that it is because Bitcoin is really that valuable that is why many are getting interested and encouraged to work for it. Despite of many criticism and bad news circulating, only those who dare to fully understand Bitcoin's importance will still continue and ignore unnecessary stuffs around. Having Bitcoin is really fun even we do have different point of views upon using it.
