Yep indeed that's right. I am also one of those who's hoarding coins right now because I am looking forward for the bull run and halving that's why I am keeping my coins. When I heard the news about halving this year I am really happy because I have a lot of coins to sell for a better price and I can shout this line "it's payback time!" if that will really happen.

If you short bitcoin then you can be happy when the price goes down as you are earning money in the process, however shorting bitcoin is incredibly risky because as we know bitcoin can skyrocket out of nowhere and if you are holding a short position using leverage you could lose all your capital if you are not careful, however most of the people that are interested in bitcoin are going long and as such they expect the prices to go up in order to obtain some profits in the process, because as you say no one is interested in investing in something just to lose money.

which people? those who are happy the price rises are definitely bitcoin holders, but not all are happy that prices are rising. Some traders expect prices to fall, especially now that there are already margin or futures trades that allow traders to open short positions so that the price goes down the more profit they can get

you are right not everyone , the only happy persons when the price of bitcoin increase is those persons who want to take profit and have their own interest of gains.

But if you are a real traders when the price is lower or when bitcoin price dump, you will also feel happy because its the time what traders is waiting so they can buy more coins to store and sell it again when price increase that how traders think.

I agree with you. happiness depends on people and their purposes. those people who wanna buy Bitcoin, they will always be happy when Bitcoin's price is going down sartainly. because if bitcoin's price will be going down they will buy more Bitcoin on their budget. on the other hands who alredy invested on Bitcoin they will be happy when Bitcoin's price goes up. because if the price will bw increased they will be able to make more profit.

Who would be the one wont be happy when theres a price increase? This isnt only limited to Bitcoin but in all sorts of investments that we can involved on.

Happiness is on when we do meet up our expectation or goals neither either buying on cheap price or selling it out when the price is high.

It all varies because not all will have the same target in mind on how they do accumulate and on how they do sell-off.

Not everyone is happy when the price goes up, actually some people are waiting for a price drop to buy and make more profit. Only holders most of the time are happy when price goes up

People who are holding bitcoin will earn profits when it's price increases. So it is normal for them to be happy.

Well, people do want bitcoin prices to go up. So they said what others want to hear. But I guess they also save their money in case bitcoin price goes down in order to collect more and more bitcoin.

Actually, whales are the ones who control everything in the market and they do want the price to get somewhere lower so that they can buy more and more. And once they have collected enough bitcoin, they will create a big FOMO in order to push the price up. They dont need to talk too much to generate their capital. The fewer words they said, the more money they have. People who boast around about bitcoin and its price are those who dont have much money
