Well in my own opinion, it's overwhelming that a person taught us how to earn. And a way of wanting others to experience you are having is by guiding and sharing taughts and advices.
Also I consider everyone here as family. Helping each other will make development and organisation. That is why sometimes, it's heartbreaking when scams are present because of greed. I do hope that everyone will be putting themselves into others' shoes for a while.

Exactly, i think they are helping each other on the forum to make a life out of something especially the unemployed ones so it's a laudable idea to share, i also think it helps those sports and gambling bookies on this forum in their business in terms of marketing.

maybe they only want to share what they know to other people and it is good to them because they can reach more people and if necessary they can be a good friend in the end. i think this will give both side a chance to know what is the advice from the knowledgeable person about the game and the other people can know that he can get free info from this person. the other side, this person can be famous among the other tipsters.
I think sharing tips to other people is really great because you are not just giving them tips but you are helping them on how to win every game. So i think these people is really concern to make people earned a lot of money. Your knowledge is very helpful for the newbies when it comes to gambling.

They are building their reputation, once a lot of people follow, they will charge cost or at least expect some donation, and there are a lot of people sharing their tips because they think it is fun to be able to guess the result correctly

I agree with this, because mostly this is the case, but there are some other reasons too. For example you share a strategy, any strategy it's even not necessary you have won with the one. Then from several people who tried to play with it, one wins big (just because he was lucky). That person can tip you after the winning although your strategy wasn't the reason he won, the luck was.

Even with other reasons I think the main point is what machinek20 said, to build a reputation to have a "portfolio" later to show to the followers and make them pay for precious tips. Surely there are people wanting to help others or just having fun by sharing some predictions, but the professional one want to make extra fortune by selling his predictions, especially if this one have a small bankroll and need more money to "do his job".

But how can you plan to build a reputation from sharing tips if there is no such thing as a "winning strategy"? That approach you described is good when you can offer something useful to people, like a good culinary recipe for example. It doesn't work with gambling normally. It "works" only when someone is lucky.

So, I'm sure many of you have seen tipsters on this section, in your Twitter, in chatrooms and some other places - it's the people who suggest you to place bets on certain picks in sports. And maybe some of you have asked yourself a question - why they are doing it? Why they are giving us advises how to win money absolutely for free - and by doing this they decrease their own profit, since the winning pool grows bigger as people follow their tips. Can anyone explain this?

They are trying to be generous and don't want to be selfish with their predictions and this is also an edge to those people that are sharing their tips because they can build their reputation when it comes to betting. Why are you caring for those people that are sharing their tips if they are not even worrying about sharing their tips. There's nothing to decrease for their profit if they are sharing it, we should be thankful upon sharing their thoughts.
Making the records great can make your portfolio way better and you could see the possibility of how you are going to make money with just sharing your tips, isn't that all we want with what we do? We always want to make money/profit and getting tips from people who you have helped means a lot.

I think they share there tips to get reputation as one the best there is. And it you love a certain sports I think it will be easy for you to give free tips. There's always that sort of thing called bragging rights, so it a tipster almost got 100% correct, he can brag it all along. Imagined you post your tips in the different gambling forums and then you hit 100% correct, you will be famous then and will have a lot of followers. Then probably, the next tip will not be free, but since you have that bragging rights, gamblers are more willing to pay just to get your tips and give them significant winnings.

It is their own desire, I have my own reasons why they do it but I can not explain it here because it looks very against them, sorry about that. I personally never have thoughts like you, I just do not want to make myself dizzy with such things and I assume if they share tips and if the results are good then it makes their reputation grow.

For me giving tips is a way of getting more luck when you are gambling, i know it is only a superstion but the feeling of giving tips when you are winning is different like all the luck is coming to you and all the good things you shared will go back to you x2 or more.

I like to share tips when I win a lot, and I think I'm very generous sometimes. I believe you are right, we share tips because we expect when we give to get something in return for that. I have few friends that I like to tip when ever I win big, before on pocketdice and primedice I shared tips often because I was active on chat and many times when I didn't have nothing I got some tips and over time that becomes habit.
Tipping is nice, to some people couple dollars means a lot in critical moments, and if someone make big money why not to share a bit of that happiness to people close around.

Pride perhaps? Fame? Wanting people to look up to them? Or some just really want to help a fellow gambler out. Different people have different reasons why they do stuff so these tipsters can't all have the same reasons

I think they're building a trust. so when they have a good stats, they'll try to sell their tips. I see some people on this forum to do that. initially they give a free tips and finally they sell their tips.

It is up to us if we want to take that tips or not. If you think that it will help you for your needs and for an additional knowledge. Maybe we can take that tips and it is up to us if we want to continue to take that until that tips will sell by the owner. Sharing is giving. Grin

I don't agree with the part that they are decreasing their profits, it's their bet and what's lowering their profits? Probably their own bet that they have and decided to lower it or something. If they are betting in a sportsbook and the tipster, it's the sportsbook who will lose money, not from the people. They are probably just trying to help and hoping that when they helped someone win big, they would receive a tip. It won't hurt anybody anyway.

Once you make your bet the odds do not move for you, so it does not affect them to give tips to people, for some of the reasons I think that some may like to be helpful to the community, some could like the recognition and some others may do it to show they are very good at what they do and want to show it off, but there are probably many more reasons that we have not thought about it.

Well I think they do that to build some public credibility when it comes to their predictions so that when the time becomes right for them they can monetize the tips and turn it into an online business. Some even go to the extent of creating VIP groups on Facebook and other places after giving off a series of free bets which turned out to be successful.
Well most of the time they do that after some straight winnings and they've got a confidence that they can really give a good tips with high chances of winnings they will begin to sell their tips and make it as a business I'm glad for those tipsters here who build reputations but still keeps giving free tips.

Whoever doing it for free maybe want to help others or any other reasons which we can't decide. But whoever selling their tips they know that all those tips still got some risks so they think that they can make a sure money by selling instead risking their money. People who buy those tips still need to take a risk to bet on those tips because they are not 100% sure tips but who sells them surely make a profit from buyers.

I think some people just like to help others so they share some info. Some people like to be listened to and be respected and feel important so they get this by sharing info with others. People have all sorts of reasons. Some we don't understand. Though I do understand where you coming from it, it doesn't really make sense to me either but this is the only thing I could think of and I'm sure I'm right at least with some people.

Maybe they're too good, maybe they just want to help. Or maybe they want to know luck everyone. By using the same tips there must be a different result, that's when they can see everyone's luck. Maybe they're happy to do that too, so they just want to have fun.
I agree with you mate, This kind of sharing it have a many reasons i think. As you said, maybe some people who have a lot of experiences in some sections of gambling share their bets to people for help and the high earning, also by thoses bets they can help you to choose the right bet and increase your chance to win. There is a kind of people said, that they have a fixed match which this is wrong, and they buy bets with money, and at the end, the bet lose, so we talk about scam here . There is a many ways, Whether good or bad.

Any newbie will comes to ask the suggestion and tips from the experienced hand here in the section. That is why they giving suggestion to handle the tricks in dice, casino, poker and elsewhere. However, sharing the bitcoin gambling method is the good deed you are doing in the ponzi scheme like gambling. I always say everyone to leave from the all the gambling option they have involved.

in my first days I wondered the same thing , then later I realized that I have registered under tipsters links in pretty much all the sites I joined  Cheesy
so tipsters mainly post their picks to gain referrals or to build a solid repu that they are good then they may start selling the picks instead of posting them for free

also don't forget that some sportsbetting sites here sponsor the tipsters , and they make a lot of money just by posting bets that they have made in the site that they are promoting
