Sorry to disagree with you on the reason for the high traffic here. I don't think it's because of the quality posts made here that we've a great number of users. I think it's more of the posting incentives here. We have seen how traffic dropped in the past when signature campaigns seemingly dried up. A great number of users wouldn't be here were it not for the weekly stipends from posting.

Apart from the incentives from campaigns, I think navigation and interface on this forum is way ahead of others. Here is user friendly. The community is great too. Yep, I know some are unbelievably horrible to mingle with. Again, there are first hand teachings here from reputable and grandiloquent developers, tech wizards, programmers, who've graced this forum. Some even have registered accounts here. Whatever history happened with Bitcoin has been captured here and in most cases by those it happened directly to. Being here is a first hand privilege.

Aside from being one of the best forum to learn about cryptocurrency here are some of my reasons.

• The user interface of Bitcointalk is far more better than other forum. though I haven't been to most of the forum OP mentioned.
• The way discussions are done here in Bitcointalk will make you want to just stay online and do nothing else but read. The only time you'll find a thread that isn't interesting is: if the topic is of low quality or if the topic is one that has been posted before by several other people in the forum.
• From my observation once a user proves to have good intentions for the forums i.e wants to help the forum in whatever way he/she can. Acquainted members of the forum are always ready to assist such a user.
• No questions are left unpunished  ,. no matter how complicated the question may be there's always a link that a forum member will provide that has the answer to such questions.

There are some many reasons why people use Bitcointalk and as long as the number of Bitcointalk users increases so also will the reasons increase.

This is the oldest forum so expect that many people use this compare to any other forums. Also the forum management here is great and almost all of the topics are already been posted compare to other ones where the topics there is almost copy cat on bitcointalk. Just read the contents of each forum and you will find bitcointalk is the most reliable forum to us crypto users.

You might not be the right person to say this to judging by the many bounty reports and posts you make in the altcoin section, but Bitcointalk is a place of quality discussions and a great source of information. Just check out the two Bitcoin technical boards to understand what I am talking about. And the signature payments provide great incentives as well. Contrary to that, those other forums you brought up and the Bitcointalk altcoin boards are a source of spam and meaningless posts by people who in many cases have no idea what they are talking about. Any attempts of a meaningful discussion will soon be covered under a pile of garbage. Sadly.

Bitcointalk.org is one of the most comprehensive forum ever to discuss bitcoin as well as others including altcoin. This is a bitcoin forum dedicated by satoshi for the community, but you are free to choose any platform you find interesting to gain knowledge, discuss it and do whatever you want.

I got used to it, even though its still running old model because now we see websites with more flashy things but personally I like the simple and neat so its actually made for the purpose of the forum not for the benefit of the websites creator. Also no ads apart from signatures which is rare to be honest and the veterans and all the members are here discussing everything about bitcoin, shitcoins and all tthe economic activities going all around the world so you get instant information here so all we need is to spend time here, read more, gain knowledge and spread whenever and wherever you can.

Bitcointalk forum speaks for itself and I regret joining it late despite participating in many other forums that are less productive. I downgraded the forum in my mind having known it about three years ago.

As for your question, the main reasons why people are interested in the forum is because it is user-friendly (so far you are of quality posts), it is informative to the extent that everything about Bitcoin and altcoins could be known and shared here, and one can earn Bitcoin after attaining some certain membership levels.

I have no doubts, but the BitcoinTalk forum is the best forum ever (in my opinion). There are several users who have extremely high knowledge in this subject and can share it with us.

This forum was the place where I learned a lot about Bitcoin/Blockchain in my entire life!
I would never have imagined that I earn some money participating in a signature campaign, having this type of "job" motivates me to always improving my knowledge (Bitcoin/Blockchain)

I always recommend and promote BitcoinTalk to people and friends if they want to increase their knowledge in this area.

Asking people the benefits of the forum they are registered on is like asking why people chose a particular profession. The answer is simple: it's better here. You will probably get the same answer on another forum. Therefore, I will not repeat all the benefits described by other people; the choice is always up to the user. And the OP most likely came here for the merit that would help him participate in the bounty.

Everything you need to know and learn about Bitcoin is already here at Bitcointalk ofcourse apart from Bitcoin, it has also features where you can discuss off-topic like politics, trading, altcoins and many more and from different topics and languages of local boards, you have many options to choose to engage to. You can see why most of them choose here.

It is created by Satoshi. You know it is the original cryptocurrency and one of the oldest forums ever created.
The number of active members here
It's the most popular cryptocurrency forum out there
Most of the most genius crypto enthusiasts around the world has been using this
The amount of information you can get here is way more than other cryptocurrency forums
Yearly competitions, events being organized by moderators and theymos.
You can earn money by sharing your opinions (or basically by shitposting . JK)

These are some of the reasons why many people that are involved in cryptocurrency are choosing Bitcointalk over other forums out there. The fact that this forum has been created by Satoshi Nakamoto I think is enough to attract some people to use this forum already and let's also add the number of active members here who are constantly sharing their opinions. TBH, I tried to create an account in altcoinstalk and posted there but only 2 posts I think and after that, I didn't visited their website anymore.

Because it's an OG. Bitcoin can never be replaced (in og status at least), neither Bitcointalk.

Apart from being one of the oldest cryptocurrency forums, bitcointalk has some major advantages over other forums you mentioned above. Among the advantages is one important one - The availability of Local boards.

Being able to discuss bitcoin in one's local language and also involve in trades with your country person is a great advantage this forum has over others.

Again some historical factors keep people in this forum;
Such as the forum being created by Satoshi himself;
Bitcoin pizza history;
Hodling and lots more.

The legendary history of this forum might the reason why crypto enthusiasts were here including me.
The genius man or a group who created Bitcoin and also the creator of this forum Satoshi Nakamoto, you will find all his previous posts here in this forum and histories that we will never forget in crypto were also found here.

So that's it, it might that's the reason why people keep choosing Bitcointalk.org because its previous history that might catch interest them, unlike other forums which earlier found than Bitcointalk.org.

Another factor could be, that there are a lot of good and informative topics that surely a reader easy for them to understand.
Just ask yourself why you're here, it might be that 90% of other members have the same reason as you.

I choose BTT because it is the most active and informative forum where different people from all over the world with different ideas, findings, and Bitcoin knowledge gather to discuss, educate, promote, earn and contribute positively to the growth and widespread of Bitcoin and its usefulness. BTT stands as the best place to get genuine information about Bitcoin becuse it was created by Satoshi Nakomoto. Another reason may be because BTT gives more learning opportunities than other forum because members here are well known as readers and research makers.

In addition, being a member of this forum with so much history makes you feel like you are making history as well with your original contributions and perspectives to discussions.

 Why not?, this answer may vary from person to person as it is a personal question that prompts self evaluation. For me, my interest is not just about crypto, it is about Bitcoin and though it may not be the only thing discussed here, it brings great comfort knowing you are amidst people with same interest as you which is bitcoin.

I looked around to see if there was anything I was missing from other forums and the main places people go to talk about bitcoin with quality/knowhow seem to be bitcointalk, stackoverflow and github (but the stackoverflow used to not be very busy).

I don't know if other forums have grown much or well since but I doubt it (and they don't exactly have the history bitcointalk does).

I can't speak for other people why they choose this particular forum, but I can say what exactly I like here:

1. Lively and active community.
There will always be people who report on changes in the crypto world and beyond. Forum participants will immediately join the discussion of these topics, which allows you to get different points of view on the same situations. The more opinions we take into account, the more objectively we can get an idea of what happened.

2. Knowledge base.
Discussion of technical (and not only) questions allows readers to use this forum as a place where you can find a lot of answers. Information is constantly being accumulated and added to, which makes this information base in a sense evolving.

3. Historical component.
All the same, Bitcoin and Crypto Era began with this forum and bitcointalk is of great importance in the development of thecrypto community and bitcoin. A lot of important events happened or began here and it's nice to realize belonging to this community, albeit on a modest scale.
 
4. Events and competitions.
If the community is active, then various contests will not be rare, as you can see for yourself. Starting from the art conquesst and ending with the culinary contest, like pizza-day contest. There is a wide variety of them.

5. Signature and bounty campaigns.
It would be hypocritical not to mention it. It can be considered a nice bonus to be able to participate in this campaigns.


In one form or another, some of the items on this list are in other forums, but I think they are far behind the bitcointalk. And if compared with the forums indicated by OP, then for the most part they turned out to be "half-dead" (almost inactive), in my opinion, when I looked at them.

Apart from been the first of its kind I just like how bitcointalk website displays on smartphones and PC, it's more cutey😟😸😸😸 than others and easy to understand, cryptotalk and altcointalk are confusing, worse design and bad interface.

Bitcointalk has the most that any Bitcoin or cryptocurrency forum could offer. So in terms of resources, Bitcointalk is simply incomparable. Not only is this forum created by Satoshi himself/herself/themselves, this forum is also where many of the earliest discussions of Bitcoin happened.

History happened here. HODL originated here. Laszlo made his infamous 10,000-BTC offer here. Brilliant minds in Bitcoin and altcoin had discussed ideas here. The likes of Hal Finney, Adam Back, Andreas Antonopoulos, Jameson Lopp, Greg Maxwell, Ross Ulbricht, Vitalik Buterin, Charlie Lee, Charles Hoskinson, and many others were all here.
