There is no big difference between using bots or playing in automated rolling on dice sites which provide this facility. What I have seen many creators of these bot claim to have bot to help the people to win more. There is no such thing which by pass the script else sites were entering in default. You can use bots to make wagers or to reach to different contests to make some money, that's all.
As a bot user i must say this is not true.
If i play dice i most of the time us seuntjes bot.

If you set startbet to 0.00000001 and after lose you want to increase next bet 1-49% all your next rolls will also 0.00000001 becouse the amount is to low you want to increase.
This will not happens with bot if you set, lets say, 35% after lose your next bets will be 0.00000001,0.00000002,0.00000003 and so on.
This is not only at rollin this happens to a lot of pages if you set increase under 55%.
The other part of using a bot is you can easy set a stop (after x loses) and you have a lot more options for your strategie. Yes we all know there is no strategie that works 24/7/365 but maybe you have a strategie that works 24/7 for 3-4 days. But i would not run the bot for this time, maybe 8h a day with a working strategie.

Why exactly dice bots could be considered illegal? You are not breaking any rules I can think of, you can't exploit the site by using it.

Dice bot yes ,making you loose as always because the bot plays your money and people use it for fast roll of the dice especially on greedy people ,well these depends whatever its stratedgy maybe some point it wins but as i observe playing dice manually and using dice bot /autobet its the same when you make it double to regain or to get back your first bet is the same loosing it when your out of the last bet .
It's possible to win on dice and auto bet it's the stratedgy which in the end this stratedgy made a bug for you to win i've tried .i won consecutively about one week and half with the stratedgy and it bugs the auto bet ,others try another setting but not works .

you cant buy dicebot but you need to pay like a fee so dice add it on another website there also a option like a tip every time you close it. people use dicebot because of its autobet there also on dicebot called programer mode which basically you make your own script. 
the most probably reason is that the third party bot have more feature and shows more stats than the on-site bot. if you saw some 3rd party bot you will get what i mean here

I think its because since its 3rd party and they don't trust the sites propriately auto bot. Plus there are some additional features that a 3rd party bot features that the autobot doesn't have.
Maybe they think dice bot can make their winning percentage bigger, but for me using dice bot function is to do custom betting

This is very true there is big chance to get busted very quickly while betting using bot, although it's nice to roll very fast but when put without any limit than it's really bad condition to play on any dice site.

It is not a magic. They might say it sometimes because they might have get into profit using them. The reason why they say is this because bot gives them a plenty of options to build a strategy and also is easy to change them with few clicks and setting up preference. Bot is not a magic but yeah it makes easier to bet. Those who consider it is magic will soon find it later. Gambling is all about luck.

People do that because then they wont have to play them selves so that they can do other stuff they have planned. Or some people do it when they are going to sleep but still want to have the change to make money when sleeping.

I think its true but what bots help us is, we can bet smaller amounts and hence stay for a longer time. While doing manually would mean that bigger bets and hence busting faster than you expect.
