According to regional statistics up to now, Vietnam is a country with a high speed of information technology development, the population of Vietnam is now a golden population, many young people. In 2017 and early 2018, the number of crypto transactions in Vietnam has grown significantly compared to other countries in the region. Ho Chi Minh City has bitcoin ATM trees, there are cafes paying with bitcoin, have entered in large volume of electronic money digger even though the government of Vietnam is still quite harsh with crypto.
So if there is a local board for Vietnam then that is perfectly suitable and wonderful. It is a great gift for the youngsters of Vietnam and also a solid development for the crypto community.

I agree with this. As the number of Vietnamese know about Bitcoin is increasing. I see a lot of Vietnamese joining Bitcointalk
Quite impressive really because vietnam is no doubt a great area that has been neglected these days

The problem is that there currently isn't anyone trusted enough to moderate it. All local boards that don't have adequate moderation (Chinese etc) are ripe for abuse and the Vietnamese board was already probably the worst abused board I've ever seen and add to the fact that not a single Vietnamese user reported any of the abuse makes it even worse.
I agree the fact, but I think Vietnamese locals should have one more last chance. After unlocking the board, admin or moderators should stated clearly that the board will open for trials, someone found abusements should contribute to the forum by reporting abusers to moderators to eliminate abusers. Instead, after a while, the board will be shut down forever.Over time, you can find active, self-moderator in the board. Something like with Merit system.

Anyway, as Hilarious says, there are many abusers (especially low quality posts) coming from Vietnamese users
Unless you Vietnamese can convince Theymos and find trusted member as its moderator, a local sub-forum is a no-go

I agree to Vietnamese language at bitcointalk. Coinmartketcap and a few websibe alcoin have Vietnammese. Why we dont have forum Vietnammese at bitcointalk

You had your own local thread but it was locked due to constant abuse. 99% of the posts in there were from farmers either copy and pasting irrelevant content or shitposters just spamming post after post and not a single Vietnamese user ever reported it. In fact, most we're happy to participate in it once they realised they could get away with it.

Agree. However, why the forum can not have moderators for Vietnamese local board? I guess it not hard to find or hire someone to do this task. Personally, I think Vietnamese users who have good English skills still can join other boards in the forum and contribute to the forum discussion with high-quality threads, etc. Some of them might be helpful users. With Vietnamese users who don't have proficiency in English, they should have other option, in the case, Vietnamese local board for discussion, sharing ideas, help each other.It's still even happening in this thread such as these two below who are the same person posting one after the other:

With merit system, they can not be ranked up by copying and pasting. I think the merit system is enough to control spammers, plagiarisers.
Please consider re-opening Vietnamese local board
I think it's neccessary to open a Vietnamese local board. Coinmarketcap has supported Vietnamese. So Bitcointalk should do, too.
