I have been watching what has happened with bitcoin since near its inception and i see these near pointless coins coming out, I just did not see the point except like what was said by another user pump and dump.

And whats sad is new users don't realize that most of these coins are worthless. Those are the ones who get sucked into buying these coins.

Because people wants duplication and imitation,only few people back then enjoyed what bitcoin have accomplihed and so they are creating a new coin with more features so people will adopt and use it and make a lot of money for the developer.

Everything has concurent in this world and bitcoin isn't exception. Now there are many open sources and it's easy to make your own altcoin but it has no effect because there are more serious altcoins like dogecoin, litecoin, etherium and etc. So main reason is trading and also what talkbitcoin sayed it's true and at the same time sad. I think there must be filter or something like this because there are many silly altcoins which isn't under use by people.

because there is this button on github called "fork" and when you click it you can have your own altcoin in matter of seconds.

and this is the way altcoin market has turned into, just similar coins with slight changes and same crap all over again.
