I think why someone prefer bitcoin than fiat is because of its price. Bitcoin's price is still has a lot of potential in it. Even though sometimes the price of bitcoin dump it will eventually pumped up. If you invest / or currently holding a bitcoin just hold in it and the price will go so high.

Bitcoin gives everyone the possibility that can not give Fiat money. Nobody argues with the fact that terrorists can use bitcoin for their purposes due to its anonymity, but this is not the fault of bitcoin. The reason is people. Even paid attacks cannot be realized without the help support people. Terrorism exists in any financial system.

Why some people prefer bitcoin over fiat? Putting it like that means op looking for our views or answer to the question he puts as the title of his post but taking a look at the entire post it seems like he's showing his concern over the misuse of bitcoin.
Ok so first why most people prefer bitcoin over fiat is maybe because bitcoin is and has been a good investment and no other business may have brought you as much returns as bitcoin has especially in the recent past. Bitcoin is a good store of value. Bitcoin can also be used as a currency not much popular though but there are certain goods and services you can buy easily with bitcoin. There might be some people who may have preferred bitcoin over fiat because they wanted to hide their black money from the government so these are a few reasons which came to my mind at the moment, there might be many more.
Now talking about the misuse of bitcoin it's already been said many times before that it's the same with bitcoin too as it is with fiat, both can and have been used and misused so the people who you saw using bitcoin for porn, gambling etc must have been doing the same with fiat before bitcoin was introduced to them it's something you can't control or as someone here in this thread rightly said you can't dictate people when it comes to using their money.

I think there is nothing in this world without miss use.In case of Bitcoin if its all happening then how we can prevent this all???.Bitcoin is an open source money system and anyone can buy it from anywhere and there is no laws or restriction yet for its use etc.People all over world are accepting because its easily available and widely used now to buy anything.I consider Bitcoin as father of all crypto currency world and it was't created by criminals and not for criminal activities.It was a revolution in money world with use of technology.Drug dealers use many more thing which were also not created for any criminal activities.Porn addict also use computer internet and all other things which were not created for anything wrong and there are lots of many examples where good things are used for bad activities.If want to blame???Then blame the stuff because of which people are discussing it here.Blame who created drugs,porn material and gambling etc..I am also not a supporter all these things but its better to attack on roots instead of branches.

Just like in fiat money, they are also being used to buy illegal products and used for illegal transactions. There is no way for us to dictate what people what to do with their money or bitcoins - hence if there are illegal transactions made with the use of Bitcoin, it should be normal just like with using fiat money for similar transactions.

Yes it's true as what I've red in the deep web where I discovered the bitcoins is yes bitcoins are used in buying drugs, porns and gambling which is why I get curious about this. But when I knew that I can get an additional income to this bitcoin and it is also a great investments, I used this for my own good not for buying drugs and other  stuffs. And I think they misused the potential of bitcoins.

If that so this will end up dangerously to the people who only used bitcoin for  their bad habits but not to those who are making bitcoin valuable. I think selling or buying bitcoin is not that easy because they need to know your full details, your identity, your ID's or your cards thats how they strict they are when about to bitcoin. So, how that it ended up like that?

That is correct we cannot blame bitcoins for that and even people are using fiat for illegal activities but in that case no one blames fiat and people who are earning it in genuine way will always respect bitcoins as they know it can be more valuable in future which is not possible with fiat.

Not all things that use in bitcoin are unhealthy. bitcoin is like an fiat but there are some different from any things. Bitcoin is not illegal. Person who buy illegal things are criminal not bitcoin.

i think it can only be possible in such area where the use of bitcoin are and where people have the opportunities to use bitcoin for purchasing everything they want to buy, for example in Brazil people have more opportunities to use bitcoin even in their local shops. i also heard that there they can also use bitcoin even in restaurant, so i think such people will prefer bitcoin over fiat.

Even fiat can be transacted digitally or via bills or cheque  to bring in or move out lot of money.
But yes I agree you get to have more controls regarding Bitcoins with no questions asked by anybody.

Bitcoin is a tool the people are the ones deciding how to use it, if people did not buy drugs, or gamble or buy porn with fiat, I would think you have a point there, but people do that with fiat as well and the amount of people doing that with bitcoin is very low if you compare it to fiat.

i prefer bitcoin, it is digital, means simple to carry.

People prefer bitcoin over fiat because bitcoin is much easier to use. We don't have to bring some cash if we want to go out and it's even safer. Because today if people knows that you have big transactions or you have big money on your pocket, they might rob you. With bitcoin, the security of your bitcoins (wealth) is really high.

I never heard of a place that is having 'bitcoin' being taxed, I mean where is the 'decentralization' idea went? Are you saying that Bitcoin is now centralized? Because based on what you've said about 'Bitcoin being taxed', this is a major catastrophe. So basically are you saying that in that specific country the government are already earning from the 'Bitcoin community by having them pay taxes'? Really that is absurd my friend.

Of course there are many advantages that exist in bitcoin when compared with fiat currencies, currently population of bitcoin users continues to increase, this certainly can be achieved over time.bitcoin has a great function for the economy of its users, many successful bitcoin users Through its activity in bitcoin so that Triggering them to switch to bitcoin as a trader or investor.

Yes I agree with your point that we must increase the number of people who use Bitcoins. And for this purpose we need to develop their interest in Bitcoin. Now it's free and smart era and everyone has in his own smart choice. And everyone knows that Bitcoin is a good selection because of its high value, Small charges, easy to transact. So, a lot of people are there who knows that investing in Bitcoin is beneficial.

There are a lot of reasons, but mainly they are political. My main reason to look after the bitcoin, was because of my a dream, that one day people will use their own currency, after i was inspired watching a documentary the Money Masters. It is not exactly what I was hoping to be later on, but still its a great experiment. One can learn what to expect in the future, what people expectations are, and how powers that be reacts to the concept of peoples currency.

Other than that it sometimes more economical, faster and safer way to transfer money.

Fiat means local currency we can use our currency in only our country. Only the USD is accepting all over the world, but still, they want to exchange that currency for local money. So this is bit complicated process. If we use Bitcoin then no need to do all these things because wherever you go, and they accept Bitcoin, you can pay your bills through this Bitcoin. It's become like universal currency. So people prefer Bitcoin over fiat.
