and that's why they prefer bitcoin over fiat, they can gamble with bitcoin anonymously, they can pay for a porn subscription with bitcoin conveniently and anonymously and they can deal with illegal activities anonymously such buying/selling drugs for bitcoin . that's the reality we can't do anything about and we can't let them stop on doing the said activities they can even do it with fiat so why not with bitcoin it's their choice and i think all you can do is to not be the same with these people and be responsible on using your coin .

Sad to know and sad to say we couldn't do anything about it since people use bitcoin on a negative way and same as you Im really hurt why bitcoin is being used on those bad things and it could definitely affect the total image of bitcoin into people.We cant really avoid that there are really people would use it because of its anonymity feature and people see it as an advantage to make even more money without exposing their identity. btc is not made for used in porn sites

Bitcoin was meant as a decentralized digital currency. The adoption of bitcoin has to start somewhere right? look at VR, the porn industry was one of the first to adopt that as well

some of the party misuse bitcoin anonymous feature for bad things, and why you only bring negatives news, there are a lot of good things that bitcoin brought, it had helped so many people in economics sector, it had provided so many new job regarding to cryptocurrencies, this is the side that never being told by others

More people use fiat for those purpose than those who use bitcoins for them. However media who want exposure will just publish articles about how criminals use bitcoins for such purpose just to get a click from those who aren't involved in bitcoin and curious about it.Also there're people using bitcoin over fiat in e.g. online transactions because they can't trust a bank so they don't have a credit card. They thus use bitcoin as a medium of payment. Others may just get advantage from some sites offering bonuses to customers paying with bitcoin.

btc is not made for used in porn sites, gambling or even for drug dealing but btc is made and design for more than that, i see with my opinion that bitcoin is a large industry which can reach all people from all country and bitcoin can be a new currency for every one. blockchain itself is new technology which can help the economy of the country to be better than before.

Of course bitcoin wasn't created to pay for such things as porn and drugs. But what to do if such industries took a look on bitcoin and get used to it before some ordinary things as supermarkets and others. The main problem is that it's not admited by the government. Bitcoin was made to be used firstly as electronic cash (according to the satoshi whitepaper) Period. What an induvidual chooses to spend that cash on is entirely up to them and is none of your business. Fiat currency and credit is used everyday to buy porn, drugs and gamble, are you hurt by that also? wise up. porn/sexual deviancy, gambling and drugs have been around for 1000's of years, and that is not going to change anytime soon.
How about mind your own business and continue to use Bitcoin how you see fit, that way you might be a little less hurt.
People prefere Bitcoin over fiat because it gives em freedom fiat doesnt. Who wants to gable, should gamble, who wants to watch and pay for porn, should be able to do just that, and if youw ant to buy drugs for yourself, feel free to do it. It's your body, your responsability and your decision. You should be free to do it if your freedom is not limiting freedoms of others around you.

There is no reason for any of us to panic about this issue, not only bitcoin other forms of currency are also being used for drug dealing and gambling. However as bitcoin transaction are completely anonymous so it has been currency of choice for porn and gambling industry. But you can also see lots of big merchants accepting bitcoin payments so bitcoin is being used for both legal and illegal stuffs.

it is a currency first of all and that makes it the same as any other currency, people use them to pay for all kinds of things. you can pay for your bills or buy drugs with both USD and BTC. not much difference there.
I have seen thousands of posts and comments regarding uses of bitcoin in porn and gambling. You can find it in this forum with minimum effort too. I know bitcoin has great potentials and I also know that there are some bad user of bitcoin like any other currency. But my point is, those bad users are a lot in number. And as bitcoin is not globally adopted, those users really play great impact on impression of btc, I guess
yeah i am also well aware of the fact that the illegal usage of bitcoin (or bad if you want to call it) exists and many are using it.
but for porn! there actually is no major porn site that accepts bitcoin until today. there are some random live cams which were advertising in here and most of those topics like this one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-and-porn-957629
are filled with their spam and other signature spammers.
and about drugs and dark net, these days it is mostly Monero that is being used there not bitcoin because of the anonymity that XMR offers instead of BTC!
in my opinion the majority of usage people get from bitcoin is only as an investment and for trading. then the second place is for payment and third with close rank is gambling. the rest are a very small percentage.

Don't worry. Everyone use bitcoin like he/she want to use it. And this he/she will use it in the same way like the fiat money. So if these people use bitcoin for those activities you mentioned at your post this have nothing to do with bitcoin but with them. Every money is used for not clear mains from bad guys. Bitcoin is money. So cannot be out of this misuse.

You can do the same in the real world with fiat currency, is not only related to bitcoin. The BTC is for transferring value over the without any central authority.
