Because we are still in bearish market making some investors to become afraid to invest in Bitcoin. If there is no good development and progress in favor of Bitcoin market so that it could attract more people to invest then expect that the price will not going up before this year will end.
Bitcoin price in the market is not stable that's why we don't expect too much, that it will always on high price, sometimes it's high or low that's the world of cryptocurrency but if Bitcoin price is down, you need to be patience just hold it until it'll back on it's high value.
1) I believe that the Bitcoin blockchain has very little bandwidth. 2) If you solve the scalability problem, it will attract a lot of investors and users who can use Bitcoin and blockchain for financial transactions with large amounts of funds. Big business may also be direct investors, but due to problems with scalability, this will not happen in the near future.
1) It is true, it is considered the same as the bandwidth of only one network. And as a result, the scalability between transactions is incredibly slow.
2) Well, I get the point. And it will surely attract large businesses(some of 'em already are) and possibly a worldwide adaption(?) But the real question is, can we really increase the scalability of it? It is already set. So the adaption and utilization of Bitcoin would have to be by another method. I'm not being skeptical here, I'm just being realist if you will.
For now bitcoin's price is not down unlike the year of 2018 that bitcoin's price had really decreased that a lot of people started to panic sell all of their bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. But today just like what i said bitcoin is starting to recover it's price that it has a huge chance that it will increase it's price again as well as our profits.
Although the decline is not like in 2018 but still this is a sharp decline every day and if this continues without any more positive changes then it is likely that the bear market like 2018 will be repeated and of course this will create panic and fear will be even greater because the market red happens again.
For now bitcoin's price is not down unlike the year of 2018 that bitcoin's price had really decreased that a lot of people started to panic sell all of their bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. But today just like what i said bitcoin is starting to recover it's price that it has a huge chance that it will increase it's price again as well as our profits.
For me bitcoin look like a bridge between the all other cryptocurrency and Fiat currency.
With the support of the government to the cryptocurrency and mass adoption, the market will imporve. Many investors comes with great price.

I think after 2017 market everybody in fear of investing into crypto market. But we can not say BTC price going down as still its price upper of 10k. So i think we should give time to market so that gradually people will feel strong mentality about crypto market and as well as market up.
While some people gather courage price will rise, it`s always like that. Price will always fluctuate, at least as long as people speculate, and that will not end anytime soon. We wish high price, bitcoin to rise a lot in value, well that goes both ways, price is rising, but it drops too.
I feel strong about crypto market, but I`m here for a long time. Since I`m here prices raised a lot, for me market is stronger than ever before. It`s all perspective, how you see it!

I agree, that is also one of the reasons why there is no bigger price rise. But the problem of scalability isn't something that will be solved any time soon so we can't count that solving that issue will encourage the price.
Current Bitcoin value is reflection of market conditions and unreal expectations would not change anything for better.

it's just a slight correction after so many green days of the market.This happens quite often and I feel very normal. I think the correction always set the stage for bull runs from 15% - 20%.

Because to make it rise higher requires a long process which of course there will be positive actions that continue to be done so that there will be investors entering this market. The bear market is indeed still going on so I'm not sure of a high increase in the near future.
I feel the same thing. Oh boy! I guess we're not gonna have a merry Christmas this year. Though this week's chart is looking fine, jumping from $10k+ to $11.2k+, I'm still bothered because nothing changes. We are still half way to last 2017's ATH and there are only less than 3 months remaining before the year ends. Well, September is just starting so it's very early for us to lose hope, let's keep the spirit alive 
. Just continue investing/hodling and everything will be fine soon.

Still waiting good respond from SEC and many other institution want to make bitcoin become legal payment transaction, always delay for getting result of bitcoin legal or not.
Countries need to take Bitcoin. And do not prevent people from using cryptocurrency. This will greatly affect the price in the best direction.
It takes time before countries fully introduce bitcoin to their people because as of now bitcoin is so hard to predict because of its volatility. Maybe in the next years little by little people will understand that crypto currency plays big role in our world. Also not all the people have knowledge about it so the best way the government will do is to give people some benefits of the crypto currencies and that way people will get knowledge on how to use it like what paper moneys right now.

I think that bitcoin values are expressed and rated through the features that bitcoins bring.You can easily trade in great quantity and absolute security, bitcoin is a product of great future value, a prerequisite for the development of coin customers.
Bitcoin getting better results in this year so we cannot this is staying in the lower position only right now the value underdevelopment is also getting better so you can get the better result for your investment in this year
This year I am also expecting good progress but no one actually know what will happen, some more investors are getting in the market, so I am also confident about unexpected rise in price till the end of 2019, it has been long when people were saying bitcoin will cross the records of 2017 so I think now this year we will get better result but let’s wait and never sell for panic.Jump to:
