If you wish to become real bitcoin investor you don't need to get panic even for -1000$ fall. Bitcoin is not stable and many people are cashing out their founds because of coming SegWit, nobody knows what kind of changings it will bring with itself; will it be the raise of the price or fall. But I suggest you just to keep your founds, as the history showed bitcoin grow back after the fall, so, in the case if the price will drop I am sure it will come back on the same price level as today and continue it's growth in the future.

Yes. As I have said the price of bitcoin constantly fluctuates. So right now, its going crazy and the price is going downhill. To the OP, I think this is the perfect time for you to get it because the price is really down. I just hope you are not shaken if the price is going down like now. Segwit is coming over and I think this will bring a good impact to the price soon. So I advise you to get and buy bitcoin now and the coming days.

HI Guys,
Today i invested 3000USD for bitcoin. but i found that from last 2 days its price is down. I am new to this bitcoins. i am little scary to keep this much amount because it is going down. its already come down to 75USD less when compared to to my investment time.
Is there any particular reason for this change is the BTC price..?
can i keep the investment as it is  or can i sold it for loss of 100usd..?
please suggest me... .
If you see the bitcoin price history, you could clearly notice that there has always been a rise and drop in its price. But over all if you see,you could understand that bitcoin had increased gradually from its previous price. As a bitcoin investor for the past one year,i have seen lots of such price drops and also saw some big whales trying to spread rumours about bitcoin that price would crash so that they could buy more bitcoins at cheap price. So don't get panic. If you sell your bitcoins, then definitely you would regret for it later.

The movement of the price today is normal if you seen the price drop today is this just a normal fluctuate of bitcoin..
There are sometimes that we are experience of price drop and sometimes huge price increase . and if you are holding bitcoin for a long time i think you still need to be patience to increase the price back instead buy more bitcoins in this cheap price and hold and patience ad wait for the price increase again..
This is the same what happen few months ago.. and i think we are also experience the same thing. .

A wise decision to invest in Bitcoin when the price goes down. However, do not be scared about what is happening on the chart. Those are just lines or bars. Bitcoin is ideal for a long-term investment so do not expect that a profit will come overnight. It is better to stay put, relax and take a deep breath, it helps.

The price drop is caused by some people cashing out, nothing is surprising there. It is normal.

Keep holding and do not do anything stupid.

People have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bitcoin, but aren't complaining at the time the price goes down. People buying themselves just over 1 BTC, and in most cases even less, are the one that constantly come up with such threads, relax! Bitcoin is well known for its volatility. If you invest in Bitcoin, you directly accept that you expose yourself to this volatility, and understand the other risks. If you can't handle this level of volatility, I think it's better for you to not invest in crypto at all. Never put your money into something from which you don't understand how its market works....
They have all the rights to be worried, actually the same small investors are the ones to feel the price fluctuations really hard bitter or sweet is another point. while there are hundreds of thousands of small investors you should think about the few large investors, I believe they both are in the same boat but the small ones can't just simply accept the loss and they panic and dump, reason for price going down besides the large whales dumping is because the small ones are dumping all they have. they don't have what it takes to be a long term holder.

How come a bitcoin newbie just invest $3,000 without any knowledge how bitcoin market behave.

You just put money and hope that all things will come the way you want? If you want to maintain your position then it's up to you to hold more. If you want to get out, then just set how much you are willing to lose. There are lots of FUDS currently roaming around because of the expected happenings that will take effect after August 1. I suggest to always monitor the price so that somehow you are aware of the price movement regularly.

Because they think the crypto market, bitcoin in general in a get quick scheme. Its sad but true. Bitcoin has gain prominence last couple of months so a lot of newbie are joining the picture in thinking that they can profit in short amount of time. To the OP, no have no other choice but to really hold on your bitcoin. This is how the crypto market works, its not always bullish so you will see price fluctuation from time to time. But don't be afraid because soon you will see that it has recovered. Aug 1 really cause worries for others, but things will get better once we overcome it.

A correction for one month? This is a bear market.

You must be new. Recently we saw a dip to 1800 dollars. We had a bunch of idiots panic selling on the peak of that 1800 dollar dip, and now these guys are dreaming about entering back below $2000. These are the same idiots that are FUDding and hoping that the price goes below $2000. Sorry, this is no bear market. If we cross $2000 then we could talk about a bear market, but as good as there is no hardfork we are good to go.

Once segwit2x is eliminated we will go to an ATH.

I believe you have invested into bitcoins relatively at nice price levels compared to where bitcoin was trading last week. You never need to worry about the downfall of prices which caused you $75 losses and it must be temporary. You can see prices will be getting back to track for another round of rally toward $2600/$2800/$2950 levels in very quick time.

There cannot be any particular reason for this downfall as there is no negative news around bitcoin ecosystem but all the investors are eyeing on segwit activation which may happen on Aug 1st and due to this reason there is a sentiment among few investors so they might have pulled off their investments and waiting for good prices to enter back.

I guess your rank says its all, you are still a newbie and still haven't seen bitcoin fluctuations. I can say that this will only be a temporary dips so don't be afraid of what you are seeing. I suggest that you hold on your investment and don't panic and not sell. People are just cashing it out their investment that's why so are seeing that the price is going down. If you sold then you already lost your investment. And nobody wants to lose right? Hold and not sell.

Because whales must scare people in order to buy low and get big profits in the future at the cost of panic sellers. It is nothing personal against you, they only want your money.

Bitcoin is in a hard position right now, his protocole will have to be change ( to accept more transaction per minute (search for segwit for more info) in the beginning of august.
But we don't know for the moment what will be the changes, differentes way to do it are on the table, but no agreement as been found as we speak.
So investor are not as confident as they were 1 or two month ago.

So difficult to say what you should do, but the people already in Bitcoin were expecting that...

Number one rule in trading : Don't invest more than you can afford to lose

Don't expect to earn big overnight I assume that you are new investor, please search and read and understand the risks before doing so. First of look how straight bitcoin price went to like 3k$ for 1btc of course thatt some people would want out. On the other hand you have the uncertainty about the forking of bitcoin (or an upgrade if you will) that is coming on August 1st. If you came here for long term I will advise you to learn more and understand how the game is played or simply put your bitcoins somewhere and forget about them so later in the future you can look at it and see if it was worth investing or not (this can save you the stress that you might feel right now). In my opinion if you are for long term wait at least the new year because thats when the price pumps usually, I don't say that it will but it is my speculation as all we can do here is to speculate. If you strongly believe in bitcoin and that it price can raise then simply hold like many of us.

Bullshit. 2014-2016 was a bear market. This is just the market taking a breather.

This is a correction, nothing dramatic. If you can then you should hold on to your bitcoins and wait for things to improve, which all previous experience shows will happen.
