Actually this is the real point of cause behind this question. Why we are going to use such virtual currency that even don’t exist physically. The reason is simple.

Everyone wants a cheaper and simple transactions that can be controlled by them, not by someone else. So fiat couldn’t be replaced, you are true but these both type of currencies will be used in pair in future.

And bitcoin being decentralized it can help people with the economics problem like in Zimbabwe the depletion of money is high like you just can buy a meal for one person with that huge amount of money. yes if you talking about the environmental impact of paper production then it hurt our earth. but paper money is actually not paper, but is made of cotton/linen material. and literally exploiting cotton tree are not that harmful / dangerous for the life environment.

so i think you just misunderstand and hope it a bit of an insight about what actually the urgency virtual currency invention.

We live in a world where things of the past must constantly be improved to cater to our ever changing needs. Virtual currencies might not be viewed by many as something that necessary for now, but when the time comes that technology is so advanced that there's no need for paper currencies, I am sure that bitcoin and other currencies would really be appreciated the world over. The convenience it gives us would definitely outweigh whatever doubts or reservations we have in using them.

It is good that virtual currencies are introduce in the market because it helps people to earn well and make some sort of investment or savings. Many country are suffering in economic crisis but when bitcoin was introduce many people protect themselves and ensure that they can still have a better future ahead.
