Who gave you this idea?
Did you start doing it to have an extra income or did you decide to devote your life to this business?
Maybe you are a former Wall Street trader and decided to start working for yourself, having a long experience in trading?
Any stories will be read with curiosity

Born by itself. At first, yes, but in the end, I stopped for a moment and decided to just hold on. Trading ultimately makes us bored in the end. The percentage of profit is very small.

If it's wrong, please correct it again.

The question concerns experienced traders with a long experience of both wins and losses
Why did you decide to start trading one day?
Why do it,because there is long-term investing, mining or the possibility to do other business, including offline?

With a certain income, is it bad if I can add a little money from trading as income? I like trading because crypto trading can sometimes give good opportunity. Although I am not a professional trader. If I can earn a small income from here, that is enough for me, but I am trying to see how to improve here. In future I try to use my trading experience to increase my income from this platform. However, as trading can easily make profits, there is also a high risk of loss, so new traders must be careful not to lose everything on it. Trading is good but I will give importance to Long term Holdings especially for newbies. Holding is best suited for a new trader who tries to hold but without acquiring good knowledge of trading new trader shouldn't do it.

There are two options:

1. A person comes into trading because he wants to make money. Just like studying to be a doctor in order to earn a high salary.

2. A person comes into trading because he likes it. Someone collects stamps, someone likes fishing and someone likes trading.

In both cases you can lose money. But in the second case, a person will be involved in trading all his life. In fact, it is a hobby.

When doing everything, it depends on your passion for it.
Some people have passion for trading just because they want to experience how it is through demo accounts and their main accounts, while some people trade just because others are trading, so they end up blaming others when they lose their investment due to lack of proper knowledge or lack knowing how to properly apply caution.

The main reason for all these is for the sake of money; everyone wants to make money for their personal needs and there are many ways to earn money in which trading is involved, therefore, there love for trading made chose it as their work or sources of income.

I'm not a professional trader but of course I have experience on doing futures trading. let's accept the fact that most us want to earn extra income and if you have time you can make trade as your part time but before you can achieve this earning you must need to invest too atleast with the knowledge, skills and experience those are your keys to gain profit. Not all the time there's a winning moment in trading there's still as lose but again you are a trader risk is there but you can do is to lessen it.
In this era if you are not rich enough doing a single job doesn't sustain you at all.
Exactly. Even rich people never focus on a single source of income, but they definitely have multiple investments that will generate profits for them. Most particularly for poor individuals, the need to engage in side jobs is not just a choice anymore but a must have so that financial security will be achieved.

I’m not actually a trader but having most of my friends going into trading, I was slowly exposed to that until I started liking the idea in order to improve my current life’s condition. I know trading is highly profitable, but it can also be an instant way to make you lose quickly. But with proper knowledge and skills appropriate for trading, and with consistent exposure and experience in the market, I believe the possibility to gain massive profits in trading will be highly possible in the end.

Hmm, So many questions from OP anyway these are the most recurrent questions we encounter every day while having discussions so putting the light to it won't be a big deal, you OP, The idea of trading is self-granted while exploring this market comes to know with a good capital we can stand in this market and trade to earn livings. Well, I am not a strict active trader as a student I need to deal many things.

So coming to the next point why trade, not something else, because now in my case I have familiarity with this market and have some tiny skills and knowledge with experience through different sources and an active touch with the market so it will be less efforting to trade for mee while on any other skill, I need to first learn then master then arrange different things and then a start so trading is a quick start for me, not for everyone so that's why I decided to trade timely.

Stick a day trade? nope, I don't follow it I belive in saving the wicket concept, saving the capital waiting for the best ball, and hitting a six, or 4 at least hitting every ball no gain is really disappointing and it helps in managing risk as well.

Everyone trades for profits. Mostly people watch different kind of man's that are involved in crypto and trading where they get a lot of profits. Their story motivates them to become rich in a shorter span of time and that's when they choose to start trading.

But in reality trading is very difficult and different from that thinking of people. So in order to succeed in this field you need to be very patient.

A person skilled in trading can earn a lot of money in a very short time if he has a plan for his investment. Which is not possible from anywhere else. This is why people prefer trading. And in trading there are both profit and loss, one day you will profit, the next day you will lose if you are not very skilled.

People are trading because they wanted to earn and make money from doing so, but some have forgotten on how they can start a successful trade without having to risk loosing their entire capital investment on it when they are quite aware of the challenges in volve in doing trades plus the way they are going to trade safe, which all make it more important that we start trading with the amount we can afford to lose after which learning has been experienced.

Why trade? Trading gives people the opportunity to make a profit. But not many people want to learn to analyze trading, so not many people can make a profit.

They just follow what other people do without wanting to learn. The result is that they experience losses that could become even greater if they do not realize their mistakes. In trading, we cannot always buy and sell immediately after a few hours and often have to wait until the price rises.

This factor of not waiting and not wanting to learn trading makes it difficult for people to make a profit. Most people end up failing in trading and regretting it, but others can improve their trading skills. As long as people can make a profit, they will continue trading.
To be able to make a profit from trading is not an easy thing to do, of course we have to be able to carry out good trading analysis so that we can make the right decisions on the trades we make in order to make a profit.

By following other people in trading without having any knowledge about trading, of course this will cause them to experience losses on the trades they make and if we trade, of course we have to continue to monitor market conditions to be able to know the right time to sell and make a profit.

Someone who doesn't learn to trade well will of course not be able to last long in the trading they do, of course they will leave the trade at a loss, even those who have been able to make a profit from the trade will also learn about trading to make the right decision for trade they do.

Why do it,because there is long-term investing, mining or the possibility to do other business, including offline?
I believe that when you trade or invest, it's always accompanied by a new learning just as these two things. So, if you are an investor, then in the long run you will have to learn about trading. And if you are a simple trader then you'll get to learn more about investing.
We're not stagnant and we're going to learn more things in finance such as the crypto market and these things of investing and trading. If you are going to ask why trading and not the others? because we've got the basics of it as buy and sell.
Anything that we do has a learning process and along the way, we can unlock more knowledge. If we start as an investor, there is a trading mechanics when we are buying a coin. Same goes when we sell later on. It's also true that when we start as a trader we can learn investing eventually because there are instances that we decided to wait for the price to recover before we trade.

It's okay to stay on trading despite of it, as long as you are doing good and maybe adding, or switching more can only cause of our collapse. Trading has the basics of buy and sell but what about investing? Also trading can still become complicated later on but this is also highly rewarding, which can be the reason on why some prefers it.

For now I am only a long term hold or you could say investor and previously I was a trader and start up because I was very tempted to see the profits that could be made and considered this as a second source of income apart from my main job in the real world, and was interested because I saw someone's post and started trying it first started off well but slowly became less enthusiastic after the market entered a bearish period around 2018 and finally decided to just buy and hold for the long term.

I am sure that many traders choose to trade because they want to make a profit, but not all of them are able to survive because traders can not only make a profit but also experience losses and sometimes a big loss will change a person's direction of thinking about starting something new, including becoming an investor.

I started my trading in 2022 and I started with Metatrading app and with the demo account and what motivated me to trade was since there was no job from the government and the society, and I was looking for something I can be doing to fetch money for me even though it is small let me manage it. So I learned it from a friend and later when I have gotten the basic knowledge and having the experience of trading, I opened the live account and deposited $200 dollar as bitcoin and at that time bitcoin was $16k.

So after depositing the $200, I used $100 to trade and gain $20 dollar and I was greedy at that first time because it was my first live trade and lost everything within 30 minutes intervals. So the second trading I gained $30 and I stopped that day and from there I started trading with small amount and gained little profit. And for me I do it to sustain my life and take care of myself.

Why did you decide to start trading one day?

What will be the reason behind trading if not to make money from it? I am trading because I want to make more money. I learned how to trade and started trading because I saw it as another source of income. Despite it not being a stable source of income, it is very hard to continue making profits from trading, but with good knowledge of trading, you can be making a reasonable amount of money, so not everyone is trading because of money.

Why do it,because there is long-term investing, mining or the possibility to do other business, including offline?

I involve myself in trading because I see it as another good way of making money, the truth is that everyone can't rely on one way of making money, so someone set of people have to deal with long-term investments or offline businesses or others of making money. It is all of us will enjoy doing the same things as human beings, as everyone may have something specific they love doing.
I think for certain reason, we all want to engage in trading to make more money. Knowing the fact that trading can give us opportunities to earn and make more money, despite of how risky it is, majority of us here still aim to trade and hopefully become successful with it. And I think with good knowledge and proper training in the market, the desire to be a good trader and to earn well is never far from reality. There may be consistent losses at first, but that is always normal for beginner traders. Once you gain mastery in trading, it will be easier for us to achieve decent amount of profits by then.

1. Why start trading?
- Frankly all of us would really be having on the same actual one reason which is to MAKE MONEY/PROFITS. This is the very main reason on why we do really make that involvement with trading
which is of course there's no way that we could really be able to make it easy but somehow its not impossible.

2.Tons of opportunities or key areas on which you could really be able to get involved with.Yes, but we do know that there would be various reasons on which you would be hesitant on doing so.
MINING- Asics or GPUS doesnt come cheap and also difficulty is already that on the peak plus having that electricity cost which it is really that main consideration.
BUSINESS incl Offline- It would be needing up that significant capital and if this is something that it is out of the scope of your interest then you would be skipping it.

3. Gave out the idea? You would be finding it for yourself online or someone tells you about it.

4.Always consider on making it as an extra income because if you do push yourself on having that as an replacement of your day job then this is where issues do really start to come up.
5.Whether you are experienced trader on other markets but still there would really be no assurance that you would really be doing well into cryptospace. Everything will really be just that depending on how well you do make up your trades in regardless with different various situations or conditions.

Why did you decide to start trading one day?
I heard about bitcoin, and people told me I could earn money from it. I decided to start trading because I wanted to make money from it, so I decided to proceed to learn how to trade. Most people who are trading are doing it for the sake of money. I don’t think there is any reason why anyone will be trading if not for the sake of earning.

Why do it,because there is long-term investing, mining or the possibility to do other business, including offline?
I have some bitcoin in my wallet, which is for long term investment, and I still have some money in my wallet, which I am using to trade. So if you are trading, that doesn’t mean you can’t invest for the long term, mine, or do other offline line business. I don’t even encourage people to depend on trading alone for survival, we all should always have multiple sources of income.
