Hi there! I participating in several bounty campaign. In 4 out of 5 campaign deadline was extended. In one be extend for a month, in another - for 2, in a third - for an indefinite period. Say please, this is normal or it is attribute of scam?
Thank!

it normally happens. Well to be frank, you can't really complain, because with bounty in case the project kicks off, you get a very decent stakes given the amount of work done.

This is normal, you do not need to worry. Campaigns are usually lengthened when the development team needs more advertising for the ICO.

I do not agree 80% bounties extended even I am also doing almost 50 bounties only 8-10 bounties has been extended so far or 4-5 project failed. Some bounties  extended because they do not met their soft cap or hard cap or we can say they did not achieved their desired target as they planned and if  any project does not tell the end date of bounty we should leave those bounties because that can be end up as a scam. One should be choosy in opting bounties.

This usually happens when a previous ICO hasn't reached successful soft cap or not in accordance with the targeted. of course, this will also affect with extended also bounty campaign. But even so, if the allocation should be extended to the bounty also added so that participants are not many are disappointed.
The majority of them are thinking the bearish trend will give a very bad impact to their ico. But it looks like that's not true at all. Look at some of promising projects and how they are reaching the hardcap just in some minutes. In fact the extend the ico duration doesn't matter a lot.

In most cases, the reason is that the project has not raised enough money. This is often the case to me. But in general there are still other reasons for this. You just have to expect it and be prepared for such a thing.  Smiley

of course it's perfectly natural and normal for a bounty to withdraw their ico because of the current unstable market situation and this is a very right decision so their project can achieve success

it's all because the ongoing ico is not finished and the ico that lasted has not reached the expected target so as to make the bounty campaign in the lengthening, you better avoid bounty like that.

Now it is very difficult to collect the required amount for the project. When the signature company began it was all more optimistic. And the extension of times is caused in my opinion by a complex situation in cryptography. This is not a fraud, but a reaction to force majeure.

Everything is very simple, or not collected what they planned, and plus the fact that they expected that there will be a market rise, and a large increase, and still there was a correction,so most of them decided that they need to quickly extend, and there will soon be a rise in the market capitalization of the crypt

Many bounties do not reach their targets during the initial stipulated time for the bounty. They later realised that they need to extend their timelines to help raise more funds and bounties have to go with them.
Yeah, some projects in bounty campaign did not reached the softcap and hardcap which is targets but some projects extended the deadline because they knew this will be a good projects and has a potential to surpass their targets in given deadline.
The overall market environment is not good, some general projects do not have much attraction, which leads to investors' desire to invest less and less. This is in trouble.

The market is really bad. Nobody wants to invest in new projects because Bitcoin's future is not clear. There are very few projects that make hard cap. If you can bring them to chance, you will win.

In Bounty Campaigns, you always have to write a condition that the manager can change the terms and when you enter the campaign, you automatically agree to this rule and you must follow all the changes. I do not really like when a manager changes the conditions in bounty, I always equate it with fraud.

If a bounty quest is extended for a year, I suggest you still give up this quest! It is normal to extend one month's time. If it records bets on time, you can still continue to do the task!

Some of the ICOs extend their deadline because of there soft cap and hard cap.
If they do not meet the price of the soft cap they will adjust with the hard cap and they will also adjust with their ICO  deadline sometime it is with the bounty manager like with my experice they extend the ICO deadline because the bounty manager has change cause of the bounty manager cannot handle the project. The manager is not meeting the goal of the project that is why they change the bounty manager.

I think the situation of the market now is what is making some ICO to extend their project time. Some projects are not getting the required sale , which means that investors are not investing into their projects. Perhaps because it is not an hype projects. The extension most times is to favour the pooject.

I think this is why bounty hunters are moving to bountyhive and other similar platforms to ensure delivery of payments at specified dates. It can be a little annoying when they extend the period, but i guess it is better than cancelling the project completely due to not reaching the soft cap.

Well, I have participated a few bounties that don't extend the deadline. I don't think that it is 80 percent. A lot of them don't extend. I think that some of them don't get sufficient investment, so they extend the deadline.
