i think everyone knew if all bitcoin fork just a child from bitcoin, and the fact without bitcoin all bitcoin fork will never exist right ?
just one questions, do you need your mother or not ?

This is a very good comparison. By the way, "Mother" is going to gain a lot. Some specialists in the crypto world have counted than in 2 years, Bitcoin price will reach 45 thousand. If it is true, the answer to the question about BTC and why we need it is simply evident. It is the best investment that can let many people change their life for the better.
Altcoins will not grow so greatly.
It's still the first one that investors will trust as they already seen how this coins grows, instead of paying attentions to those forks where there's no clear directions it's still best to stay with the first coin who gained the trust of the people and expect that it will grow more while market adoptions is already been taking place by many new investors around this industry.

Bitcoin means, first of all, trust from investors, liquidity, confidence in price growth, minimal risks, and so on. All these characteristics make Bitcoin the best coin for investing and trading.

Bitcoin remains the father while all those forks are nothing but forks. It is just like saying why do we need dollar when we cents in the United States of America or saying why do we need Naira when we have Kobo in Nigeria.

Why do we need these coins when we can just stick with bitcoin as the most reliable payment and decentralized coin, when all these coins that you mentioned are just copycat of bitcoin that has no use case. I would rather put my money or make use of the lowest coin in the market that is even dead than to out my money in all these projects that are called forked.

If they were that strong, why do they have to come as fork, rather than having their own separate project and using bitcoin to shine, now that they have used bitcoin to sine, they are claiming to be better than bitcoin. The only challenge with bitcoin is still the network fee, which is why people go for other altcoins that has cheap fee and that is all I see their benefits for, not like the way you are portraying it.

There should be no argument in here. Why btc? The alpha, first ever and pioneer of crypto. Yeah  most of or all them are better than btc but btc is thr original and no one beats the original. I hope it answers all and no need to discuss it though

Bitcoin is the original crypto and rest alts you mentioned are either forked out of it, or created under its brand name. None of them will ever be able to generate the returns that bitcoin will be able to generate for you, and most importantly selling bitcoins is easy but selling those alts is very difficult. I would advise you to invest majority of your funds in bitcoin, and you can invest some amount of money in Ethereum too for diversification.

In reality, knowing that the first cryptocurrency is bitcoin, it wouldn’t be so easy to be replaced. I know that a lot of projects,  coins, developers, etc. Are looking into a better alternative and There are coins that are better, but in terms of applications and acceptability to the public, it is bitcoin that is the most used. That’s one of the reasons that it is still on top and I don’t think it would be replaced anytime soon.

Personally, it’s quite easy to transact when using bitcoin compared to other altcoins like Monero, Ethereum, etc. I see that it’s more practical, in my opinion.

I can relate it into this one. Bitcoin is the tree and its hardfork is just a shadow — a shadow that falls behind the object forever and always. Yeah! The shadow could become darker (meaning, become more famous like bch) or could also become lighter (like the other coins you listed) but one thing is for sure it will never outcast the tree. The tree is the origin and shadow will never exist without it. It happens that tree is much more appreciated than the shadow because of the gap between their values. The shadow become beneficial only because of its shade but the tree itself is the source of life; same things apply to btc and its hardforks Smiley.

I consider all this altcoins good only as testing ground and experiment for real BTC bitcoin developers.
They can see all the problems this altcoins have,
and found best way for potential safe revolutionary update for Bitcoin.

Changing code to fast is risky,
not changing code at all is also risky.
Finding right balance is not easy

Bitcoin already build a deep foundation of trust among the investors as the most trusted and the most potential crypto currency to make their money to grow that is why even it has no commodity to promote and to advertise but still the people will fully trust Bitcoin for an investment.

You know what, OP?  I fully understand your point(s).  I've been a fan of PIVX for a while now, and it is one altcoin out of hundreds and would make for a much better currency than bitcoin.  Same thing for Dash, doge, and a whole bunch of other coins.  The network fees are much lower and confirmation times are much shorter.  When I buy bitcoin here on the forum, I usually have to wait at least a few minutes before I get the first confirmation, and I know damn well it cost the sender probably $1 to send it.

But bitcoin was the first, and it has the most devoted community by far.  That isn't going to change anytime soon, and as long as its price stays far above and beyond the rest of the coins, it'll reign supreme.

All of this may change eventually if crypto starts getting adopted as a real currency instead of just something to speculate with.  If the only thing to do with an altcoin is to pass it on to the next sucker for a profit, that coin isn't going to survive long anyway.  But if merchants start to accept various cryptos, people (hopefully) will gravitate to those with the lowest fees and fastest confirmation times.

Bitcoin? No! It is old and expensive.

I would rather have Bitcoin Cash for its speed.
I would rather have Bitcoin SV for its uniqueness.
I would rather have Bitcoin Gold for its ASIC-resistant blockchain.
I would rather have Bitcoin Private for its privacy feature.
I would rather have Bitcoin Atom for its atomic swap feature.
I would rather have Bitcoin 2 for its masternodes.

Do you see the futility?
If that is the ideology of the people then why does bitcoin becomes the number cryptocurrency until now? Imagine, many people are still engage in bitcoin investment because bitcoin is inevitable and no one of them can dethrone it. The number of cryptocurrencies are rampant yet only few of them has a greater percent to become successful.

Well, there are probably many coins that serve so many better features, platforms, fees, utility, and also ideas. But, which one is a coin that serves the high trust from the token holders or investors? Bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency. This has been acknowledged as certain crypto with high value and volume. This is also decentralized, unique, and able to mine. I don't think that people will agree to replace BTC with other coins.

A good apple don't drop far from the tree. Bitcoin solidness is a bed rock for all bitcoin forks. Those bitcoin folks still are not yet match for altcoins examples ethereum and litcoin so they shouldn't reach out for bitcoin. The future will tell which coin would make or if bitcoin still going be the coin on the head.

The above named coins are good coins but Bitcoin still remains the king of the jungle. It leads while others follows. But diversifying is a very good practice for trader/investors.

Sorry, but I don't see any of the coin you've listed really succeeding.
The fact that they're hijacking Bitcoin's name is reason enough for me not to use them.

When Bitcoin Cash first launched, I immediately withdrew my coins and exchanged them for regular old Bitcoin, as did many other people.

I'd rather invest in other forks that haven't called themselves Bitcoin, like Litecoin for example.

Altcoins are much better in my opinion. I can understand that BTC was the first mover and it is the oldest coin on the market and so on. But just technically, BTC is like an old timer, looks okay, but is garbage when you compare it to modern analogs.

Bitcoin? No! It is old and expensive.

Bitcoin has passed the time test.
Bitcoin is accepted by a big number of merchants as a valid coin for payments.
Bitcoin processes safely a big number of real transactions.

Your clones will most probably never get to be used as heavily as Bitcoin and if they would even get that chance, most probably they'd fail, either because of greed, either bugs or 51% attacks. So please don't shill worthless clones.
