Ok dev can you tell us how we can get some coins?
So how do I get some?
And as I understand it 80 million have been given away free and 99.9 Billion are in cold storage. IS that right?
If so I take it when an exchange takes the coin that 80 million will be up for trading.
When do you start dipping in to the coins in cold storage?

49.8 billion in cold storage...to provide a treasury for the future. We will use some for software...how much depends on the value placed upon them. We don't expect more that 100 million in the wild in the foreseeable future.

Hello, the first IRC Channel #Whycoin was operated by @Killerjoe. When @okie78 realized @Killerjoe don't rain the coin and keep it for him, @okie78 ask help directly to find a trusted IRC Channel Operator! When the other Channel was online with the tipbot, ##Whycoin was announced as the OFFICIAL Channel.

On future cases it could be better than only Dev can be able of do announcements but as there is the possibility that some enthusiast can ruin the image going ahead more than dev, Maybe this is a bit to reflect and reinforce the theory that the advertisements main should only be done in only on an forum instead off two or three, Etc...... If something happens who will say the rest will be the dates announced first, So no one will do Pre-Anns.
This type of hijacking of accounts and coins will probably happen more often than not in the future.
As with any Announcement / New Coin / Reborn Coin / Forum / etc.... do your research before commiting resources.
I have done a fair bit of reasearch on the coin since a lot of little red flags were going off when doing the research. I have to say that the developers and the Non-Profit behind this coin are very open, and easy to contact. A big contrast from most of the activity on these forums.

Its was a ANN started by a WHY adopter, who has caused more grief for the coins startup than you
can Imagine.
Used the WHYcoin name everywhere, on every forum, and has tried to extort coins from the founder, etc etc etc
Has more accounts and names than you can shake a stick at, Its been incredible to watch, to the point of
Just abandoning, this coin and starting over !
