Much depends also on the model of the video card 1060. 18 gpu with one fan standing in the same room and working on the algorithm Equihash will be lazily heated

How will bitcoin gold will be introduced?
Wil there be a mining pool or is it best to mine solo.
I never mined solo i dont know how to make the config file.
Can somebdy please explain me?

Hey you cannot mine the upcoming coins once splitting taken part then only you will find in which network pool it will get mined. I hope ant pool will go first with the BTG mining.
Wait till the bitcoin gold segregated from the bitcoin then will decide which miner machine will be good to mine bitcoin gold.
You can any batch file after bitcoin gold comes out to the market place.

Hey Guy's

What is the best coin to mine with a nvidia mining rig with 18 1060 6gb modded.
They don't have HDMI ports or anything they are connected with risers.
I get about 410-450 MH/s at ether.
5000 H/s at equihash

Try NiceHash or WinMiner

Bitcoin Gold? Wink

by the way, with your power, slightly overclocked ( add in msi afterburner just +50 core and + 150 memory) you should be pushing about 5500-5600 h/s for equhash, so this 10% will be a very nice bonus, almost like you have 20 cards, not 18..
so as I mentioned, with your power you could mine some good qty of gold btc, if you'll start just from the start. and that's can be real good money, I guess fisrt 2-5 minutes would be really important, than diff will go to the moon..

i dont change to fiat.
I paid 7200 eur. for he mining rig and i let all coins in the wallet till the amount is reached.
At the current rates about 20 months.
Im thinking to put 2 miners (12 cards) at eth or etc.
The other miner (6cards) im planning to mine low cost coins wich i mine a few coins every day.
I think its easier to gain 100%+ with a coin that costs lower than 1$.

Gone phishing...
Sometimes ZEC is a better option, sometimes ETH is a better option. Do the calculations and be sure to check on prices frequently. (Daily crypto/fiat rates might not be a huge concern for you if you have no plans to convert to fiat on a regular basis, so it's up to your preference. Choosing the "right" coin to mine is partially speculative.)

You will have to do some calculations and factor in what coin could be better in a year's time or so unless you have a need for money now just mine whatever is profitable at the moment.

Make some calculations on Whattomine.com
My mining rig is using algo profit switch, it's mining ethereum right now.
It keeps changing, it was mining zcash yesterday.

And what is the best thing to do with my mined coins?
I now save them all.
I stil have 1.5 ether.
24 zclassic.
4 zencash (zencash is earning much less then whattomine claims)
430 musicoins (mining about 500 each day).
6 Walton (i bought those with some musicoins beacuse i think its a good coin with very much potential.)

I think it is best to keep all the coins to spread my chances.
What do you guys think? exchange coins for btc/eth or another coin?
Or just keep all the coins i have?

The cards are all Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB modded.
I rewcently put the core clock down because 1 miner had an error with fan speed.
Some cards are not showing fan spoeed after some time till i restart the miner.
When i put the power down from 80% to 75% i got about 40h/s less per card but 250w less consumtion.
I pay 0.22 cents for electricity thats quite expensive.
Im now mining zclassic and muscoin.
I like getting more then 1 full coin a day so i can maximize the profits if the price increases.
Only im starting to think that zclassic is kinda dead.
They only dropped price since i sarted mining it.
Same with musicoin.

5000 H/s at equihash

5000 only with 18 cards ? That's low. I easily get 324-330 h/s per card.

That's on different brands as well. I have msi gaming, asus strix and asus dual.
I get that range on msi and strix. But that asus dual card gets me only about 308-312 h/s.
So basically you're not overclocking those cards well. You should get almost about 5900 h/s.

I guess you probably guessed what coin you're going to mine. Since you have nvidia cards just like me, Zcash is your friend.
I've tried mining ether, zclassic, xmr and many other coins. I even used nicehash for two months (and it was the worst profits).

Zcash is the best if you overclock them the way I'm telling you. Its price spikes every now and then and that's when you sell.

If you need help with overclocking I can tell you my settings for each card but tell us what brands those 18 cards are.
