Yes, I like your approach even more than the original one presented a few months ago and see it as more successful plan of attack. Although it is still early, I would also surmise that current investors will find this more palpable than creating a strictly formed IPO to bring Colossus Coin 1.0 to the new version 2.0 launch.  I think the dev Tranz may have some insight on any sticking points you are having as he successfully assisting with some code kinks with RonPaulCoin.

No.

A group of people led by Crestington made a serious run at it.

They were doing so good that I bought a ton in case they were successful.

But nothing came of it and I kept a million just for as a keepsake type thing.

Got a million

Conye
Kitteh
Micro
Grain
etc
etc

Like collectables more than investmentes now.

But I actually had 5 million MEOW and sold em at 90 sat right before the "relaunch" when Kaiser made a tweet.

Sweet tweet lol

I am still working on it heavily behind the scenes. It seems to mainly be me taking charge of code changes, my coding skills are limited but what I want to do with the coin is very specific. I have been doing more discussion within the colossuscointalk forums lately as well as with some more experienced coders on a modified version of the Colossuscoin2.0 IPO thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-the-colossuscoin-20-ipo-and-whitepaper-540149

We ended up halting the funding for it before it began because Sudo informed me of the faults we are currently seeing and the coders suddenly didn't want to work with us. For me I would rather just code the new coin with help from other people in the foundation and pay for help if I get stuck so I can provide a working and tested model without the need to raise IPO funds. This is more preferable for me because I don't have to deal with coding teams, meetings, IPO funds and escrow and can get right into the coding of the Blockchain.

If you would like some more information or would like to follow along, I am looking for more people who want to be a part of the Development Team....

Yes, the way I am approaching it solves a number of safety and financial concerns. I will be getting into testing shortly and then will update the 2.0 thread and further refine the changes.

No.

The coin is still broken, even after all this time they said it would be fixed. I regret ever buying them.

If the coin did reach $1.00 it wouldn't make much of a difference, considering the wallet won't sync.  At least the Mac Wallet won't.  No matter what I do.  It doesn't really inspire confidence in the coin as a whole.
Exactly. It amazes me how often this is overlooked. Even IF working nodes are posted on the front page, which in this case there aren't, not having a consistently updated compilation of the wallet that actually includes an "out of the box" installer with all the configs it needs means that your coin will never be widely adopted. But let's start with giving users the ability to at least make there on config files to sync with. That is a start to making it worth more that 10 latoshi.

A zipped config file download link on the website would encourage people to adopt.

Not unless they fix the damn wallet. I hate to sound pessimistic, but all I've heard is talk as of late. A new dev team is great, but all I'm interested in hearing about is the wallet fix.

I would be more than willing to get behind Col if I think the dev team can pull it off, but the lack of any concrete updates is a little frustrating.

Completely valid, been trying to get in touch with some good software developers for the last 3-4 weeks. I think I've contacted around 10-15 coders through Bitcointalk, freelance and locally. Most are busy working on projects already. Sudo23, Heat007 and Th82 are also contacting coders as well. It's really alot of work because the Development Team is a group of active investors and we're trying to get all current investors involved in building the foundation. It was going well until the trade halt which killed all activity except the core team.

I work on the foundation on average 5-6 hours a day, good times or bad and I'm not getting paid to do it. I just don't see why everyone who owns coins would want to sit back and do nothing. We've gathered all the tools, information, and no one is being stopped from taking fate into their own hands and making it happen.

The fact that it has been 3 to 4 weeks, and you still are unable to have a working wallet is killing you. It will be a hell of a challenge to get any meaningful amount of people to join the foundation when the coin may be dead. (ie no wallet, delisted)

As I said, I hold millions, as I realize the potential here.

I am now working with a local software team who is going through the code.

Kinda cool, they also made the first Dogecoin atm at Coinfest last week.

This is good news, do they have an ETA yet?
Good to see you are working on this.

I am staying optimistic for now

Col is back on Cryptsy, the software team said they will schedule a meeting with me next week where they can give us a quote and estimated time for the first couple projects.

First, I want to say I'm sorry for making a comment about being delisted without checking it out first. I hate when people do this, and now I'm guilty of it.

Thanks for all the hard work. I'm getting too impatient I guess.

Keep up the good work. Thank you for all you are doing for the coin. I'm very happy to hear how on top of this you are. Looks like things are really starting to turn around. I'm glad I have hung on.
