Due to the economic status of most African countries, the people of Africa embraces anything that brings profit and employment to them. Cryptocurrency projects that targets Africa always win the market in Africa although some places still have difficulties in accessing quality internet connections.
Yeah Africa is good place where so many cities are now adopting new technologies and also bitcoin because they got to know how the rest of world is getting benefit from crypto currencies. Africa was under development ten years ago from now but the now it’s most developed nations and after arrival of bitcoin it has become among top 10 well developing countries.

Building good quality internet connections will never be a problem if their Government is going to participate on technological campaign (even not in cryptocurrency) for the sake of some places in Africa that needs huge amount of Government attention. The poverty in Africa is not a laughing matter anymore, many families are barely even eating 3 times a day, 1 time for them is the luckiest day they could ever have.

Cryptocurrency projects that targets poor African people will don't have an effect if the Government itself doesn't care about the country's crucial status.

Cryptocurreny will be great for all places, as we need fully mass adoption, so we should consider every nation to adopt it.

But, according to study,  Africa could be the next frontier for cryptocurrency, in fact this country got the highest country who most search cryptocurrency, this means, they are interested in learning more about it. There are also reports that Africa’s central bank are actively studying it and may institute guidelines to foster innovation which is a good thing for all of us.

In my own personal opinion, africa could really be a good place for crypto because africa is a poor country, so it would be helpful if every people in africa have invest their money crypto for them to provide their necessities. Cryptocurrency is good for the economy of a country that it can decrease unemployed people in a country, as long people in africa has the enough technology to use like computers, smartphones, and internet connection they could buy and invest in cryptocurrency.

I think the Africans sure are interested in how to invest in bitcoin with the goal of making a profit. The economy of most countries of the African continent leaves much to be desired. I think that the developed countries, such as South Africa, will be the first to introduce Bitcoin, and the rest will follow it. In any case, for mutual settlements Africans need digital money with a stable rate and it can't be Bitcoin.

For god's sake, there are countries there where the illiteracy rate is above 60%!!! , we should talk about adopting an ABC not BTC.
You are absolutely right mate, blockchain technology and the adoption of cryptocurrencies should be tried and tested by the developed world before it goes massively to developing and under developed countries. Most of them are likely to abuse the system, get scammed numerous times and later scream on top of their lungs about the failing of this technology when they are definitely the root cause.
Let's not forget this saying, Lack of knowledge my people perish. With illiteracy rate hovering over 60% how sure are we that some of these folks are going to comprehend all the intricacies of cryptocurrencies.

Every country is good for bitcoin and place crypto, depend on how regulation from government about bitcoin legal or not. Africa can be good place for crypto and bitcoin because by using crypto as digital currency every transaction look transparent without have some thing to worried many people use fake transaction and manipulation how much money they sent.
Crypto is something that shall be legal throughout the world. Crypto has the power of united all of us and making business things easier than ever. I am sure that Africans would admire this new invention of bitcoin and other altcoins which would help them in making reliable and faster transactions. Africans also have rights to enjoy latest technologies of the world.

Any county would be a good place for crypto as long as they're open for adoption. It will actually advantage for each country to adopt it not just for investment but as a mode of payment. Countries especially those who are losing their fiat value could have cryptocurrency as a remedy for their economy. It would really bring a huge impact not just for Africa but also for crypto as well since this is another positive adoption.

Bitcoin has multiple advantages in regions such as Africa. First of all, the people can use it as a store of value, just like what they are doing in Venezuela. Many of the African national currencies are infamous for losing their value (Zimbabwean Dollar is the best example) and therefore a lot of the rich Africans store their money in the form of USD and GBP. Also, Bitcoins can help in the remittance industry, which is pretty big in Africa.

Africa is a great candidate for crypto payments. I believe 3rd world countries are great in general because of the lack of established IT network infrastructure. The decentralized nature of crypto can really help by reducing the need for IT investments from the government.

I believe crypto can do Africa good.

no, we need to reverse. Bitcoin is a good tool and asset for people in Africa. because Africa is one of the poorest and poorest continents. but when they have bitcoins, they can make a lot of money from trading or investing without trading any items. I think this is a market that will help African people to have a better life.

The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?

Bitcoin was very risky to become cash. We all know that it was volatile, that its value is possible to dump in just a period of time. Unlike real currencies, it is not stable so I think that it is better for bitcoin to become an asset not being a cash like what we are using today. I believe in just supporting it like can make the bitcoin community to grow.

What cryptocurrency are you basing your research on? Cryptocurrency has a unique feature which can be unlocked irrespective of location, so anywhere can be a good location to launch a cryptocurrency. The use case of the currency will make it more location based and it's relevance to that locality will determine it's success or otherwise.

The general qualities of the blockchain; immutability, smart contracts, peer to peer et all, this makes cryptocurrency as asset which can function anywhere in the world.

in my opinion Africa is indeed a good place for crypto because since aparthaid politics was abolished countries in Africa began to develop rapidly. and economic growth in African countries is also good especially oil-producing countries. and technological development is also very rapid. so I'm sure cryptocurrency can develop in Africa. and I am optimistic that in the future Africa will accept bitcoin as an investment and payment tool.

They barely have resources to live, how can crypto help them in any way? I can barely explain BTC to my friends which are using computers and phones on a daily basis. I can barely explain BTC to a programmer who's never studied blockchain before.. Yeah, inflation/deflation can be avoided in these 3rd world countried, but Bitcoin isn't the solution to their crisis and poverty. We have yet to find a solution for adopting crypto in the most modern countries while finding a much better and more reliable solution for countries such as Africa.

The more developing countries use Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in their economies, the more value Bitcoin will have globally.
After all, the price of bitcoin is formed from the ability to exchange it for values, which means that the more people follow this principle, the higher the price of bitcoin will be in the future.
This will heal and raise the entire crypto market. It’s almost impossible to completely switch to cryptocurrency now, and it’s not necessary. But to use it additionally, countries must be sure.

Yes it will for sure but we must admit that the people in the africa is not ready in using cryptocurrency, Last time I checked they've always reject about the solutions that involves cryptocurrency. I don't really know why, there is a chance that they don't know about crypto or they are just scared of it cause they have no control in it.
Once they understand how cryptocurrency really works for sure it will be a win win to both.

It seems to me that this issue needs to be approached more seriously and carefully, from the point of view of the practical transition of the state to cryptocurrencies today.  We all know that the national currency of any country grows only if there is significant progress in the economy and GDP grows in the country.  But if we are talking about cryptocurrency and that the state completely switches to cryptocurrency, then first you need to have a more stable cryptocurrency market so that cryptocurrency doesn’t bankrupt states at all, because in one day the price may be higher, and after 10 days, the country's cryptocurrency assets will fall in price by 100% or 1000.

No country in the world will switch completely to cryptocurrency because thus it wouldn't be able to maintain financial and economy system. Cryptocurrencies can't save anyone, so african countries are not exclusion. Cryptocurrencies can be kind of alternative and be used together with fiat currencies but you can't rely only on them and no country could profit from that.
