you are right that everything have good and bad effect so i do not think that bitcoin is using for terrorist because bitcoin is a digital currency and which is used for online shopping.

yes that is very right everything has its good and bad sides bitcoin can be use for both depending one the people who are using it. but i think yet majority of people are using it for good deeds.

At the end of the day the Government is not getting the control they wanted. the picture on TV shows how it boomerangs. Are u also saying Government is benefiting from the wrong use of bitcoin?

This pretty much follows the same sort of narrative that the MainStream Media tries to peg onto Bitcoin, which is that Bitcoin is only used by shady people on the internet to buy drugs and such. We all know this just isn't true in the least and that that's a small portion of all the Bitcoin usage which we see today.

Bitcoin could be used by Terrorists, though it does seem to have to many issues to be able to used without an issue. As if they actually wanted to use the money they'd have to go through exchanges and such which would just be a hassle for them when they could just use cold hard cash.

This is the same narrative we could use for cash "OH MY GOD IT'S BEING USED BY TERRORISTS, DRUG DEALERS, OTHER CRIMINALS, AND SO ON"

I think bitcoin will always be used by two types of people in this world. The first person to use it for positive things and others will be used for negative things. Just as money in general bitcoin will always be used as such. And that the rights of every consumer, I personally use bitcoin for investment and never thought to use it in negative terms. Thank you

Being not able to control by the government is the main reason why bad guys have an eye on it, It is use before on blackmarket or illegal activities that doesn't requires lots of detail or information on them. Bitcoin being abused by criminals that's why some country were banning it. But hoping terrorist or anyone might be able to realize the benefits of bitcoin to everyone and not let their selfishness and being greedy rules them.

It can really happen, bitcoin truly is flexible and has a fast transaction transfer any where in the world if you really know the bitcoin address of the person you will send it too, actually it is long known that it is being used in an illegal way and the authorities can't make a move about it cause they don't control bitcoin.

If you understand bitcoin then you will realized that they need bitcoin because bitcoin is anonymous and they can easily transfer money from one to another without being notice by the governments authorities. Bitcoin is being abused by the criminals in the black market and use it to sell and buy things illegally and we don't need to be surprise if the terrorists also do the same.

if you make enough research, they won't need bitcoin. Banks are calculated to make more money laundering. They might even move money in cash.

However, if one has bitcoins on paid to address, one can theoretically choose the coins they spend in a way that will minimize the amount of information they leak. Choosing personally generated coins or an address that you know doesn't reveal information would protect you. Unfortunately, the default Bitcoin client doesn't support this currently, so you must assume that your entire balance can identify you if any of the addresses can. someone is scammed and posts the address they were using on the Bitcoin forum. It is possible to see which address they sent coins to. When coins are sent which were previously send to this (the scammer's) address, the addresses that receive them can also be easily found and posted on the forum. In this way, all of these coins are marked as "dirty", potentially over an infinite number of future transactions. When some smart and honest person notices that his address is now listed, he can reveal who he received those coins from. The Bitcoin community can now ask some pointed questions, "Who did you receive these coins from? What did you create this address for?" Eventually the original scammer will be found. Clearly, this becomes more difficult the more addresses that exist between the "target" and the "identity point".

All the things you are worry about are already happening for long time. Indeed the bad news have negative impact on Bitcoin's acceptance but nevertheless the price of it rising with time because there more and more people who can use their head to figure out that every currency is used by criminals and by terrorists and that Bitcoin doesn't stand out in this regard.

I'm surprised with amount of ignorance in this topic, do you really think that governments are here stop terror and drugs? They are the ones who sell drugs and weapons, and they wish much bigger control of everything. Countries like US, Russia, Israel are making weapons and they sell weapons to so called terrorists, so they make profit out of it.

For countries like US,Russia, Israel they all know how to trace the bitcoin but the problem is how to foreknow the method of delivery and prevent it. Also for crime contribution ,how to monitor it? If bitcoin didn't do this fiat can but a tedious way.

It doesn't mean that because we are using bitcoin it would already give us the protection to hide illegal activities online, that will only happen temporarily as the government has all the resources and if they will make an effort against illegal transactions, they could trace them.
If it's untraceable, they would have ban this system because it's a big threat to them, but it's not happening and in fact we are growing now.

I think they are already using it right now everyone are free to use bitcoin and it has no restrictions whether its for illegal purposes or not no one cant stop using it since its decentralized and no one control it, even altcoins maybe use by terrorist and who cares its very easy to use after-all.

I agree with you. Criminal groups are already using Bitcoin. It can help terrorist groups to receive donations from their supporters as the currency is pseudo anonymous and not very tracked yet as there are a few number of people in the world using Bitcoins.

We can't be blind about it, Bitcoin is surely good and helpful, but not only for the good people of this planet, but for all, including the terrorists, the worse disease of our time.

I'm not a troller buddy, I'm just saying/ posting the things that I know, And I want to share it to other bitcoin forum members. They use bitcoin for they're safety, terrorist not using it just because government don't use it, dont accept it.

Yes I think this is already happening because bitcoin has many transactions on deepweb where all illegal things are going on. Bitcoin or any currency  can be used whether its good or bad so I think the right question should be is how do we avoid bitcoin getting used by terrorists.
