No I don't think so. Bitcoin doesn't depend on this. Most likely the opposite is true. If something happens to the economy, then Bitcoin has every chance to get up. Because it doesn't depend on the world economy almost completely. I don't know what will happen next, but in my opinion, Bitcoin has a great future.

With all the buzz lately of governments cracking down on cryptocurrencies, there has been fear among people with regards to Bitcoin and altcoins. This is one of the many reasons why 2018 experienced a sharp decline in the value of the whole crypto market, leaving many wonder the outcome of a complete government crackdown towards Bitcoin and other cryptos in the future.

As such, what do you think will happen with Bitcoin if all the governments of the world ban it? Will it collapse after the massive crackdown on every single cryptocurrency? Or will it survive? AFAIK, Bitcoin is largely dependent on nodes distributed geographically. The Internet is controlled by ISPs which are subject to government demands. If a global government crackdown happens, then the growth of Bitcoin and other cryptos might stale for sure.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
Survive maybe yes, but what need to concerned is if they ban exchangers all over this world. It means we can't trade it or maybe exchange it into fiat anymore. And then maybe P2P transaction will come, but will a little hard to decide how many price of it.

Nah! I'm sure it'll collapse. Anything that get's illegalized by all governments in the world will not survive a global crackdown. Even p2p transactions would dwindle and eventually fail since few will have the confidence to deal with an illegal currency.

Ban of all governments will definitely dump Bitcoin's price. But I do not suppose all governments will want to try it unless there is a better system. Because if we can understand that cryptocurrency is the most suitable money for the future, they have already understood this. But IMO they have been waiting for the more appropriate one.
I also agreed that if all place ban on Bitcoin crypto currencies will definitely collapse but I don't see them doing that either because alot of respect, well know and influential people have joined the crypto market. Besides, this is one of the reason why every act played to stop bitcoin by the government and senior banker go futile.

I think all countries will not simultaneously ban bitcoin, and I think the government prefers to impose a tax on bitcoin owners, because it will provide income for the country, so bitcoin will survive and will not collapse.

Even if this happens, people will still find ways to use bitcoin. On bitcoin it will certainly affect, but I think that not in a bad way. The community may be reduced, but the price will only grow because it will be more difficult to use bitcoin. But fortunately this will not happen, because we already have countries friendly to bitcoin, so it will still be used.

we never know how the government will act in the future, which is certain that if there is a bluff from the government like that, of course there are many people who sometimes back down. because we cannot interfere with the decisions of the government. because the government has a large authority.

Bitcoin cannot collapse entirely or in a large scale due to a single government crackdown and that is the main advantage of a decentralized system but with a significant restriction it can definitely do a big damage to the entire bitcoin system and its price because investors, traders and holders are very concern about government view towards bitcoin specially when comes to make decisions to sell, hold or buy so it won't collapse but there can be a huge damage

in my opinion it could collapse because now the government is not serving and opening up opportunities for bitcoin to emerge in this country so for me nowadays bitcoin is not as easy as it once was

Crypto from the beginning also did not attract attention by several agencies and governments so that it also did not have an impact on its development, but at this time they attracted the attention of many people but unfortunately there are still many debates especially those related to government regulations. this proves that every future crypto movement will continue to be monitored and this is not a good thing either

Every policy that made by government has the function to protect civilian from harm.

Crypto from my government side, consider as risky investment so they forbid crypto but other government have different opion about it because crypto is future technology especially for transaction purpose.

it could happen if the government has banned crypto currency, I think we can't do anything, and there are even countries that punish people who use crypto currency

Not really, even the government will use bitcoin but not at this time after 2020, let's see it, I can't say that much but I believe it happened according to my analysis of the price of bitcoin later

That will not happen bitcoin will be not banned
Look how many institution from fiat economy is looking for way to integrate bitcoin
Bakkt is good example ETF yet another i think will be more
There is also many traders who  know very well  that bitcoin is great source of incomes
So rather i don't think so i think that we will have further integration
We also need to notice that govs are not able to shut down anythink
All kind of legislation are created by parliaments  not govs
In democratic countries are also courts
There are also new election in any democratic country every few years
That what you are talking about can happen only in countries where is directorate

if all governments from all countries have begun to give a ban on the use of bitcoin and bitcoin transactions then the price of bitcoin will surely collapse and many cryptocurrency traders will panic.

but bitcoin shouldn't be like that because this bitcoin was created has the purpose of creating a digital currency that can't be controlled by anyone, so maybe the price will collapse temporarily because of the influence of traders who panic and will definitely bounce again.

Of course, such a thing affects not only BTC but all crypto coins. Naturally, this is the collapse of the most important market in the global world. And I don't see anything like this happening.

Government have its power and they can do anything they want to do. But the good thing in crypto space, many countries will support this technology and it makes crypto not to collapse even the others tried it. Banning crypto in some countries will turn down our trust( and we can't deny it), but it happens that others are helping it to stay and so we support them.
