bitcoin is a very good and profitable long term investment, and my advice if you don't really need it, better hold on tight to your bitcoins until the bitcoin price reaches 50K like you mentioned and even beyond that. You are right many potential investors missed the last Bitcoin price discount when Bitcoin pull back to around 16k some months ago and also touched below 20k multiple times before the current market pick that has pushed us back to 30k and building up to 31k+ to claim around the 35k region very soon.
Many missed the discount but then it's better late than never so I believe there will be more opportunities to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price and let's see what will come along with that.

To give OP an update Bitcoin price now is $30,329.29 a month you asked this question I hope you're still holding it, so there's magic in Hodling the market is indeed very volatile and so many uncertainties, it challenges our optimism, and how much FUDS we can handle.
The worst thing that can happen is selling and then the price flies high, this happens to me hundreds of times because of special and daily needs I'm trying to add more to my portfolio and this is the best time to accumulate Bitcoin, optimism will help us reach our goal.

Well at the momemt, you will already see where Bitcoin price have reclaimed back to and at that we must equally speculate with a lot of data and facts that will support our speculation even though we may not be accurate on what direction Bitcoin price will go, but at the moment Bitcoin have relied heavily on the 30k price region for quite a while now and that is a pointer that Bitcoin is beginning to build liquidity around that price benchmarks. And going forward there is the possibility that the price will move above 35k to build more resistance around 30k-35k for another round.
This is a good point about liquidity, as the initial move to $30K wasn't supported by high volume, in fact relatively low volume compared to previous moves to $20K or $25K. So unsurprisingly, this level hasn't "stuck" as new support or a consolidation/accumulation zone yet. As telling is the current selling pressure that is also relatively low volume. So while the move to $29K is starting to look like a fake-out to the upside, the correction back towards $29K also lacks bearish conviction based on volume and could easily become another fake-out to the downside without a re-test of $28K previous accumulation zone.
Fortunately I think most speculators respect volume as a key indicator of strong/weak buying/selling pressure. So far there isn't much to suggest that price will go considerably lower based on the current low volume in the market, likewise not enough to suggest it will go considerably higher. But just like previously around $28K, enough consolidation can create the opportunity for a break-out to higher levels.

We are in the midst of an echo bubble. We will continue to pump, but will not see ATH this year. My cost basis is at $47k because this is strong resistant point for btc and I’m sure that we won’t pump above that. And most likely we might see the price just above $40k this 2023.But it is good though, just last year in November, we've seen the lower lows. But now this year, it's every different, we have this sort of run that every one talks about as if we are in the bull run like 2021 but we are not. So it's better to just continue to accumulate bitcoin as much as we can.
