Ho I saw some days ago China banned mainland residents from trading in cryptocurrencies on exchanges and made it illegal for Chinese people, how I understand chinese people were the most active nation who was buying bitcoins and mining, loosing them it will be big losses but bitcoin will not die.

yes, china is a major contributor towards mining of bitcoin, if china banned the process it definitely create huge impact on market, but bitcoin will not end because  of this.other countries are also there who contributes toward it,it will surely take time for other countries to match the level but slowly bitcoin will gain its value again.developing countries like  India, bangladesh and can provide low cost resources.
No  it’s not true that bitcoin can die without china because bitcoin is recently arrived in Thailand and the quantity of countries are going to increase day by day bitcoin don’t care about china because some countries already legalized bitcoin and now bitcoin is very strong and power full currency around the world with high price so no more china.

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
It surely won"t and it is already proven. Bitcoin is ble to recover and still manage to be more expensive. Form being down to 3300$ it is now at 6000$ and is still increasing. This clearly shows that Bitcoin can still be successful without China and won't die just because China left even if it is one of the major investor.
Only the Chinese government want to make the price of Bitcoin dump more, the Chinese investors have transfered to HongKong when the Chinese government banned the cryptocurrency market in their country. Therefore, the Chinese investors still can support for Bitcoin until today.

Bitcoin prices plunged about 13 percent after one of the biggest exchanges in China said it will shut down its operation.BTC China said in a tweet Thursday that it will close down its operations by Sept. 30 as Chinese authorities crack down on cryptocurrencies.China is tightening its grip on the burgeoning currency. On Sept. 4, Chinese media outlet Caixin reported that regulators banned companies from raising money through initial coin offerings (ICOs), referring to them as an unauthorized fundraising tool that may involve financial scams.Since then, bitcoin has lost more than 20 percent of its value.
But we can't say that the bitcoin will die because of China

bitcoin will not die because of china, although chinese is the most bitcoin user this does not mean anything in btc depab period. it is precisely China that will be difficult because the source of income from their people from bitcoin this will make their people's economy worse off.

Chinese regulations authority cannot killed bitcoin as bitcoin is decentralised and no country has the monopoly of it control. We can now clearly now see how bitcoin has shown that it did not depend on China for it survival. When we had of China banning last month bitcoin fall down to below  $3000 and now bitcoin rise up and it is above  $6,000 today. I think and it has been proved that no country can kill bitcoin.

we all know that bitcoin is not dependent on anyone or any country, indeed the prohibition made by chinese for bitcoin affects the exchange rate at the time, but bitcoin proves by the high current exchange value that bitcoin can exist without chinese
Bitcoin's value drops because of china but now, bitcoin recovers it's price. It's now increasing again because a lot of people were keep on supporting it despite of its drops. And in fact,a lot of investors invest in bitcoin because they know the potential of it. No one can stop bitcoin. China may affect the price of bitcoin, but it can't surely bring bitcoin down.

Bitcoin will not die because of China. Bitcoin users are not only from China but from different parts of the world. So i guess china will not affect the flow of BTC.

Bitcoin will not die even china ban exchanges or IcO or what ever. Because bitcoin is for world wide .if china not use bitcoin anymore yes they have effect ban not big. Because many country also use bitcoin or crypto currency . Even bitcoin price decrease for sure it will recover again because many people buy again bitcoin if they see the price decrease because they want to earn money. Bitcoin will not di!.
That's a very good opinion and I'm very sad to you.
If every country knows about the bitcoin that always manifests the dreams of many people then bitcoin is hard to die even though China does not use bitcoin anymore because so many other countries use it, so bitcoin will never die.

The chinese are not that so much worth in bitcoin right now because you can see that the price of bitcoin is keep going up even there are no chinese demand in the market and that only proves that bitcoin can do all the things even one of the biggest countries that supports bitcoin left because there are still a lot of country that are continue supporting bitcoin and there are few that are now coming into bitcoin world.

Its like you are saying that bitcoin depends on that country. I did affect the price last month that it reaches the 2500$ mark but it doesn't mean that bitcoin will die because of china because there are many countries in the world that are involved in bitcoin. As you can see now, bitcoin's price increased to 6k$ without china, a proof that bitcoin doesn't need china. Even they will ban or unban bitcoin in their country, its ok.

Bitcoin is a autonomous currency.
Bitcoin is not created by china, bitcoin is worldwide;
It will live or die by its own acts.
No external force will affects its existence.
China is a communist country, they will never let any external forces to affect or interfere in their economy.
Earlier permission of bicoins in china is itself is a big surprise.
Still many experts believe that this ban may be temporary.
Though bitcoin prices slipped marginally after ban in china they will defiantly recover, bitcoin community look at this fall as an opportunity to gather more and more bitcoins.

China is one of the big country, so BTC will not die. Cry
No and never. Bitcoin has reached to a level that now no such country will die or can affect the rate of bitcoin. we can see the previous example that china has tried ban bitcoin but what the result we can see that the price of bitcoin is still increasing very quickly which is the proof that no country can affect the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not die because of China but China is a big part of bitcoin community. When something bad happen on China about bitcoin, its give a big affect into bitcoin. That's why when China announce will ban ICOs, the bitcoin price fall so hard but bitcoin is not die because of it.

I agree to you big NO . even china bans btc theres so many way chinese people invest in btc we all know chinese if there is a big opportunity they always there they find a way to connect in btc.

yeah for all we know china doesn't even have most of the bitcoin and their primary asset in the economy is their manpower and production capabilities which do not affect bitcoin as being a private centralized currencies that can be use throughout the globe and it is capped which shows it has no plan to cater everyone in the world.
In fact china has a huge market for bitcoin there are many bitcoin users also residing in thay country. I think when the Chinese government does a certain policy that harms bitcoin. of course it will impact on bitcoin market directly. look at some time ago when the Chinese government banned ico and exchange in their country and then the bitcoin price dropped dramatically. I think china has a big influence on bitcoin
