Bitcoin is not going anywhere, atleast not in the near future... We may see some other coins with bigger growth during the next years but probably not enough to overtake BTC as the 'main' coin in the crypto market.

No mate, bitcoin is going into the top list of crypto currencies and it's not about to die soon. There are a lot of people that are sticking and saying that they will put their faith in bitcoin. And I won't say that there are just some other coins that will "take over" bitcoin, it has a big support from the community, companies, establishments and citizens.
Bitcoin is leading and definitely the future. I will hold on to my btc and don't sell. In a few years there are so many people who had wished they'd kept them. Bitcoin will be more well-known and more accepted in the future. Can you imagine if a few major internet companies will accept bitcoin payments...
People let themselfs easily scare by bad and fake news. The one with patience will be rewarded.

bitcoin will stay like it ways although there is a problem inside bitcoin itself, but i think and i am sure that the bitcoin core and the team will fix everything so we don't have to be worried. what we can do now is give support for bitcoin because bitcoin is giving us much of benefits so if bitcoin needs our help, then we should help and make sure bitcoin will stay in a long of time.

i am sure that if the fee is the main problem for bitcoin, then we need to waiting for the maintenance process and finished the job so in future, we don't have any problem when making a transaction.

Oh, so many of you sharing the same problem. Blockchain traffic is indeed one problem that pulls Bitcoin down. This is a concern that has reached the core team I guess. Everybody's gone through the same problem.

I think this is gonna be one that the August 1 schedule is going to address. But the traffic is getting worse right now because of the volume of bitcoin transaction. Again, due to the fears of the coming August 1.
Things don’t seem to be as bad as they were a few weeks and months ago, so those that are complaining are either new or have not sent a transaction in a lot of time, in this times we need to be very patient about it and if you are not then you need to send a good enough fee so you do not have to wait for long this is important especially if you are buying something and you get one of those timers that needs your transaction to confirm in an specific time frame.

Bitcoin will not die, it's just an accident  i guess, next time it will be fine for sure. I've experienced things like that, but it's just only occasionally. Next will not continue to experience like that again. I'm sure bitcoin will stay alive and more enthusiasts for entering to the bitcoin world.

I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

This will hopefully be a thing in the past after the improvement together with the BIP91. Bitcoin will not die. It is still very young. There is a bright future ahead of bitcoin. And it's price is still relatively low. The investors are speculating a much stronger day ahead for bitcoin.

Absolutely not, on the one hand because bitcoin is making a spike at price level, and on the other hand because the number of people who have confidence in bitcoin and who begin to use it frequently is in a scary growth !
I think user dissatisfaction on bitcoin will create big problems later on, this is a big deal about transaction fee, maybe this dissatisfaction will make the user switch to another cryptocurrency, because it is very possible other coin offer better than bitcoin, and if all Users switch and migrate then bitcoin will die right?

Yesterday's week was worrying with bitcoin, falling to a great extent, but this week is surprising? Started crawling naek back. It is surprising ... falling fast and rising too fast, it is indeed an idol and many are looking for it.
So is arguably the bitcoin at this time bitcoin dies?
Obviously, it’s a big no. Bitcoins can’t perish away at this time. In the current scenario when bitcoins are on way to moon, many people are very much interested in buying bitcoins before the month of August. Bitcoins can’t die for centuries. The world is becoming digitalized day by day, so how it possible that in a world full of technology, bitcoins is will die. Bitcoins are the most amazing digital inventions and are going to rule the world for generations.

If we think according to the conditions that are currently experienced there is indeed an adjustment to separate the effects of bitcoin unlimited to bitcoin. There will be price adjustments because chainsplit will divide the system through UASF protocol. But this will be the solution of the future and the current price downturn is an impact for a vigilant community ahead of August 1st.

According to reports 2/3 of bitcoins have been mined and 1/3 lost. If that is accurate information I could see Altcoins becoming more popular. Most people don't realize that you can buy part of a share of a bitcoin. After seeing the $3,000 price tag most don't look further in to it. I believe bitcoin is in too deep to fail. It's already to far along to not work. Now this could take decades to really take off but I think eventually everyone on this forum will be sitting pretty. It might take 10-20 years but if you stick with it the payoff will be worth it.

2/3 have been mined and 1/3 are lost? You mean there is nothing left to be mined?
But it will take more years for it to be depleted.
Ain't it great? The lower the number of bitcoins out the greater the value it can have.
It will become more rare and more people will see it like a valuable piece in the world.
It will not die as long as there are people supporting it.

As of now I don't think there a strong reason to indicate that bitcoin is towards death in a short within certain time period. Bitcoin has been growing high in value though lots and lots of digital tokens were coming into the trading market regularly. Till date nothing has moved forward same as bitcoin, so there is no need of any thinking about the death of bitcoin.

We have made sure that we all will not expect bitcoin to die,
This is our income, and we may be confused when bitcoin dies, therefore we must still be able to maintain the popularity of bitcoin in the world.

We look like we are maintaining the popularity of bitcoin, but sometimes we are mistaken on how to preserve the popularity of this digital currency.

Many of us save bitcoin so they can have some profits from holding them. From that, we are keeping bitcoin from circulating, that means, we are stagnating them in our wallets effecting on a price decrease. Even if it is not that bad, if all of the users will be doing it, we will be expecting the biggest dump ever happen.

Certainly by forbidding the use of bitcoin will not make bitcoin die, but it will only make the use of bitcoin to be minimal, and maybe prohibiting the use of bitcoin would be impossible as long as we use bitcoin on a large scale.
