I was expecting the price to drop to below $7k level and to touch $6.5k with altcoins rallying up. But it seems there is a strong support to Bitcoin at $7k+ level. There are genuine buy walls at $7000-$7100. I believe the price won't be experiencing a massive drop now. But would find it hard to touch $8k which was quite possible within a week if Segwit 2x hasn't been cancelled.
Bitcoin will be able to maintain its price within $6800-$7500 for sometime now.

No one can really say for sure. It doesn't look like it will drop though, in my opinion. If it would drop, it should have dropped the moment the fork news began to propagate.
It looks like Segwit2x is still happening though, and I have no idea if people are still interested in getting their airdrops now that it's pretty much established that it's just another shitcoin, but if they are, then you will probably see a drop after the fork. That might be the best time to buy if you're planning on selling up.

I think it is a probably strategy. Generally, Bitcoin price will fall down after hard fork. You can sell now and wait for next hard fork in middle November.

I don't think bitcoin will drop trememdously in the coming months. With the high demand of bitcoin due to the forking, bitcoin value will likely continuously rise up. If you are planning to buy bitcoin with your pocket money, then I think you should do it now. Also, do not sell your bitcoins now. It is better to hold it for longer time. Bitcoin price might drop for a while, but not in big amount. Maybe, it will drop from $7,200.00 to $7,000. I dont think btc s price decrease below 7000 usd, if you are planning to hold it for a year or sth else you can buy it anytime from market. It seems that btc price will never stop increasing:) (kidding)

no one will legitimately be able to call this with all the uncertainty concerning the fork. I can say with general confidence that alt markets will get the panic capital; bitcoin is the safe haven, but where do you go when the safe haven is no longer safe? expect the cryptos tied to dollar valuations, like nushares, nubits, and tether, to uptick past their static USD denomination (more so true with the NU assets). and expect the primary alt, ETH, to absorb the majority of the bitcoin capital flight because its popular, very well supported, and the underlying asset on ERC20 tokens.
It doesn't seems will drop hard, although that will get drop.. it will not drop below $7000 for these moments and so on I guess. I think it will be more likely continues tend moving toward higher again. And it seems that if this moments decide to buying it, anyway it can still provide a high chance to get high profit and I also still believe that will be.
Buy bitcoin now the price just goes down for a while. Then price will rise again until hard fork, after that sure bitcoin price will fall, but who knows? Good luck!
Maybe yes if there are larger country will prohibit or banning bitcoin due to its applications contrary to their beliefs and government laws. For me we can't stop the influx of its popularity since it already established solid foundation to cryptocurrency business.

Me i am keeping my bitcoin to make huge income also to get free coin fork.
My best advice I can give people right now is hold what you got and if you are not inn yet be carefull as at this point I don't think anyone really knows what will happend.
Some says calling off 2x will improve btc some say people have invested into btc to get free 2x and since that's not happening money will move out of btc to alts. I honestly don't know what to believe so I'm just saying HODL.

in case you missed it, price already dropped while you were not looking. and when you wait for the drop you have buy something when it happens not continue to wait for more drop each time a drop happens!
price went up to $7880 to have this drop and it went as low as $7080 and that was your chance to buy in the dip be fore it recovers back to the current price of $7300+

I personally think it will drop to below 5,000 dollars per coin. I think this is what we are seeing when it sky rocketed the first time and then crashed hard(or over corrected perhaps). Once it does that I think you should buy as much as you can and wait for the next big increase and then hopefully profit!
If you plan to hold it for 6 months or more, just buy it at market price. If you are looking to trade short term then you can wait, but be warned that BTC does exactly what everyone expects time and again.
