Chances are high, what do you think about this folks?
if that happens, trust in bitcoin will disappear and of course bitcoin will be left behind. if the price of bitcoin is not transferred to the altcoin then it's the same as the end of cryptocurrency.

There is a possibility.

The 6k support seems to be quite strong at the moment, though, and I think that it's probably going to hold up for a while. I'm fully expecting prices to continue to dip as soon as this support falters, but we don't know when that is going to happen. It could be this month, it could be next year. I actually expected prices to be lower than $5k around 3 months ago, and yet support is still at this level.

Regardless, I believe that with the flow of institutional investors into the market within this bear market, it's unlikely that we'll see prices much lower than $4-5k as the absolute price bottom. So right now, the logical action would be to dollar cost average, and buy coins with spare fiat funds, if possible.
Wait for the all the ETFs to get rejected. People will lose their fucking minds. Bitcoin can even go to 2k$, but not this month.

We need some really good news, this year has been such a bore! Last year was so damn fun, now we are back to 2013. People are losing faith in bitcoin, which is a good thing, the less number of idiots we'll then have to deal with. Please, for the love of god, people, stop being boring as fuck and get some actual shit done.

I've denied and rejected that is was possible until this morning. I think we will slowly slide to 5k before we recover. Many alts will probably perish in the process which could be a good thing in the long run.
Nobody can know this. Experts deal with longer-term predictions and they oscillate between $100 and a million bucks. I would just wait and see. I don't think it will drop as low, but even if it did it would come back to average price of $8000 in a short time.

But I think that bitcoin won't touch 5k this month. Bitcoin is currently very volatile, but I think the fall of bitcoin at 5k will not happen, because bitcoin is still a trusted coin.

Bitcoins will never touch $5k dollars because there are a lot of people who are still investing on btc like me and it will pump up again after a few months so keep on holding your coins today.

If the price of BTC drops below $5,000, then I really think the market is too weak and the choice of the market is not what we can decide.

But i think we will not see at that time when the price of bitcoin will fall down to 5000 usd because bitcoin price is starting to going up and its chances is very very low that it goes to below 5k usd and i think its time to buy bitcoin because this a very good opportunity for all people who want to buy it.

To be honest, I do not think it will happen. The price right now is fluctuated between  $6500 and $6000. On the other hand, bitcoin price is unpredictable. I just told you my opinion, nothing is accurate when it comes to bitcoin. But either way, I hope the price continues to grow which it will surely happen. I really want people to be happy and not sad about this current price. Everything comes in a good shape after you get to be patient.

The price of bitcoin can be within the range of $5k but won't be going below that. The fluctuations has been struggling between $5k - $6k, and this will be its lowest deep.

Let's see. The bottom for this year is around 5.8k which is quite safe from going below that 5k mark. I also don't think we'll go that low since bitcoin is showing resiliency at it's current value. And i don't think it will sit well with many people have a more than 75 percent drop.

I do not believe that Bitcoins will break it's resistance level of 5500 and slip to 5000$, it's shown strong resistance around 5.8k and I do not see it breaching that any time soon, as we're debating it's already crossed 6.3k mark which shows it's finding momentum and which is good for the current levels, I'm seeing a new resistance level of 6k forming and upside I see it at 7k downside at 5.5k, I do not believe it'll fall below that.

this will happen if the market price continues to decline, and if investors and large countries that legalize bitocin try to make tighter regulations so investors withdraw their bitocin assets.

no, bitcoin prices will not fall to $ 5k. You can see for yourself before the price of bitcoin drops below $ 6k the price of bitcoin will be pumped, and the price of bitcoin has now risen slightly.

I'm pretty sure that it is going down to that value. The FUDs plus the  SEC delayed decision plus the dwindling of the marketcap is just perfect to push bitcoin a little bit more to the bottom. I really hope that the same miracle would happen just like when bitcoin was $1k last year and then it rushed all the way up just like magic.
I would not be surprised either. Before that though, we may end up seeing some move towards $6700 or thereabout and the only thing that will change that this month is to see it go above $7k somehow, which might change the sentiments in the market. However, for now, the possibilities of the $5k is still intact and if care is not taken and we end up breaking that support, then we may go down as much as $3k. That would be some good time to refuel anyway.

I think it can go as low as $5000 and remain unstable for 5-10 years. I don't see it going below $5000 though. Some experts are still positive it will recover and reach $10000 by the end of the year.

in my opinion on cryptocurrency, all possibilities can occur and maybe the price of bitcoin can fall to more than $ 5k, even the worst possibility that bitcoin can return to the price of $ 2k. remember all possibilities can occur in cryptocurrency.

Can't remove the chance and it's possible.

But as long a it remain strong at $6,000 until August 20, it's unlikely.

And September is also coming as we've known that the decisions of ETF can be another thrilling action for the market.

Seeing how it drops down below $6k below yesterday and drops like there are no buyers for some time, it is really possible that $5k would be reach sooner or later. But then when we think about the most anticipated news as of the moment which is the Exchange Traded Fund then there may be a possibility for it to shoot up again especially if it is a good news. For now, let's hope for the best because many are getting frustrated of the market and losing their patience.

I would like to ask what's with August 20 why it's unlikely to drop when it has retained its support?
