No one can predict correct price of bitcoin, it may be fall to 1000 USD or maybe not. And 1st AUG is not so far.

Currently people are predicting bitcoin prices with the benchmark segwit2x or 1 august because segwit2x is expected to be implemented on that date. I also predict if bitcoin prices will not fall to 1000$ because I'm sure bitcoin prices will continue to increase despite fluctuations continuing and very hard but bitcoin prices will not fall to 1000$ again.

$1000 is old support line and Bitcoin can't falldown under this price, maybe $1500 - $1200 is possible because before SegWit2x in 1st August, need have a big breakdown on market for whale buying a huge amount Bitcoin to selling to with highest price

It is a natural rule that everything in the world is open to a positive or a negative change. But there is a reason for everything. Right now there is no reason for the bitcoin price to fall to even 2000$. The bitcoin business is growing day by day and nothing seems to stop it. So it doesn’t seem possible for bitcoin to have low price in future.

No. Unless there was something catastrophic that happened to bitcoin overnight i don't think this is possible to happen at all.

Even a hard fork won't bring down bitcoin's value to $1000.

The price floor is set at $2000. A couple of big dumps a few weeks ago that made bitcoin go all the way down to $2300, and then a bunch of whales I suspect just came in and bought a lot of coins. This has shown through the stability of bitcoin for almost a week now, hovering around $2500.

If it ever does get to $1000, it will be a great time to buy in, that's for sure.

You never know what will happen with bitcoin. The price was $2900 + recently and if you look at a the graph from 6th of June then it had one big and then the current dump. This might get stable as it has fallen a way lot from the highest peak. So it may reach 1800 dollar or near but not below than that. And a piece of advice, if it happens then just buy of it! :-)

Seems Bitcoin is solving its problems pretty fast lately. Lowest fees went to 10 cents. Lets hope future problems will be solved faster. $1000 seems quite low right now. sum $2000 not that low.

Not unless a disaster of some kind happens to bitcoin, probably the option that could crash the price and that has the biggest chance of happening at the moment is the hard fork proposed by the miners, but I think at the end they are going to understand they are going to shoot themselves in the foot if they do it.

I respect that, we never know what will happen with bitcoin price, until now price movement surprised me many times. But in the end bitcoin price is keep rising and after every fall we see bitcoin stronger, that needs to mean something. Even if more then half of the people in this thread believe that price can fall on 1000 dollars, I doubt in that, maybe we will see 2000 more or less but not below that, we are on the half of the year and so many things happened for bitcoin and many more good event are coming, maybe its weird but bitcoin have more chances to go up then down.

This might get stable as it has fallen a way lot from the highest peak. So it may reach 1800 dollar or near but not below than that. And a piece of advice, if it happens then just buy of it! :-)

Possible but I'm seeing it more possible that it will go back at $3,000 and we are going to see it at the peak of $4,000 -$5,000 before 2018. Lets say it will be back at $1,000 but it will be good and stable again at $2,000 just like whats happening for today.

Hmm.. it is possible I guess. If Bitcoin can fall from $1,250 to $200, then it is quite possible that it can fall from $3,000 to $1,000 (or even lower). But in 2014, the circumstances were quite different. A lot of users were storing their coins in the exchange sites and that enabled crooks such as Mark Karpeles to steal them. What happened with Mt Gox is certainly not going to repeat. But there is always a chance of something else happening.

Highly unlikely bro. I think this price decrease for bitcoin is another temporary setback. I am afraid this will last until the month of August. But it will not reach the $1000 figure. I hope not. But this low price will get back after August or even in the 3rd or 4th week of August.
