i don't expect the price to go sub $400 any time soon, unless there is some bad news that might get people upset. if that's not the case, then it will go up all the way to $500. after reaching $500 it will be very interesting how the price will react. will it hold, or will it fall back to around $450. only time will tell.

Not in the near future. The upward trend is going to continue at least into the next few months... It's not going to stop for now.

Of course it may go below $400 in the very next days. Why not? What would hold it? we are not in the mania phase yet, not even close to it. We just finished last bear market and there is still a lot of trips below and above $400 ahead of us.

so tell me what's your guess. Will bitcoin continue to hold its price and go pass $500 to hold or should we expect a crash going under $400 before the end of the year?
Noone knows, thats for start, my guess is bitcoin will surpass 500$ till end of year.

Every time someone says 'it'll never go below such and such price again' it usually does pretty soon after. 400 isn't far away.

The $400 price level is getting stronger and stronger, but a whale can still dump the price below $400 quite easily if he want. I hope we manage to stay over $500 when we reach that price. Don't want to see the price tank to lower $400 levels.

It seems pretty steady between 400-500$ and it will probably be steady for awhile unless the news broadcasts something about bitcoins and the price will rise.

I think it's not yet safe to say that it won't fall below 400. But if the price holds it's range at above 400 USD until feb  - march 2016, then
there's no chance it will fall back again under that value because the market will prepare for block halving.

Probably won't go under $400 this year, but who knows... Bitcoin is still highly volatile so anything can happen. let's hope that bitcoin stays on track!

Not soon, but bitcoin will fall someday. All things rise and fall, they do up, then they go down. Just like the $1200 to $200 drop, there will be another, just like that, but most probably of a larger magnitude. Maybe $2000 to $350?
Who knows?

All we know that bitcoin is a strong currency, with a thriving community, that will do anything to keep it alive. This is one of the reasons most of us hold our bitcoin, because we know it's a +EV.
