Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
It should be possible. When the government seriously responds to issues surrounding cryptocurrency then the government can do so. bitcoin regulation is necessary because then Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can develop better. Besides that it will also make the market crypto stability. There will be no major manipulation that can affect the price, it's all because everything related to crypto has been regulated by a regulation that has been agreed upon by all.

If Bitcoin and its users accept KYC, they will not be able to have large numbers as they are now, the number will drop dramatically.

I see trying to regulate bitcoin is more or less like trying to extract all the salt from the sea. This is will be something very difficult than a government can bear. Bitcoin might be posing threat to the various banks across the globe but per what I read sometime ago, bitcoin is strictly independent of the central bank and this will make regulating it very difficult. Again, for bitcoin regulation by government to be a success, I think the internet should be dead. In this 21st century, there is no way we can live without the internet, hence bitcoin regulation by government won't be possible.

Either there will be a regulation of the crypto currency. Or bitcoin will not become an official payment advice.

I think it would be better if this Bitcoin can be set by the government to be able to enter and expand in that country, rather than forbid this Bitcoin to be able to thrive in a country. Maybe it's good that Bitcoin works with all the Banks to get together to advance the financial economy in this world.

I think in the near future we will see the first achievements. But I would like to include the society in the discussion of bills on cryptographic currencies. Because first of all, the socio-economic impact of digital money should be considered, and then - technological or financial.

So far regulations will be done in that country where bitcoin is being accepted and being embrace. More likely the power to regulate bitcoin will depend upon the leaders or the government to accept and regulate bitcoin or other crypto and at the same time regulate cryptocurrency through giving a license exchange that could operate in the local or within that country.

In my opinion, the government for now can not regulate the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Because bitcoin itself is not or created by the government, but in the future it could be the government set about bitcoin.

The government doesn't consider Bitcoin as a threat to their economy. They're afraid that fraud, scams, and illegal activities will rise due to Bitcoin. So I think there is a likelihood that they'll get cryptocurrency banned instead of trying to regulating it. And that's what actually happens in my country.

If the government accepts bitcoin and they come up with legal frameworks to manage bitcoins as well as other currencies to make bitcoins more stable then I think bitcoin should follow that governmental and legal regulations. the law
Government can only legalize and regularize bitcoin, but it does not mean that they can control and centralize it, bitcoin is a decentralize currency and will remain as decentralize forever and will never lost its originality. Bitcoin is going to be use throughout the world as single currency having the same value everywhere.

So far no tone country fully regulated Bitcoin, the resistance is great, and people should continue to resist this, Bitcoin is meant to be decentralized with no government intervention whatsoever if they succeed then the true nature of cryptocurrency will be lost.
Bitcoin users and supporters should stand out to this position, its needed to continue being decentralized and not being control by any government, though we can deny the fact that the law will try its best to have regulations but in the sense of being totally decentralized should still be kept as it is the true intentions of this project, being used by most people without any interfere coming from financial institutions.

I do not think bitcoin can be governed by the government. because bitcoin is the digital currency and the world of bitcoin cryptocurrency is quite famous, and until now no one can set the bitcoin. if until the government can control the bitcoin it is a threat they can arbitrarily set and will certainly be a lot of contrary to those who believe in bitcoin. that's not very good

it is true that the government and the state financial institutions are afraid of it at least they regulate or monitor bitcoin
well agree on it that is why even that government know about the bitcoin they cant actually make some move to regulated it cause they know the consequences and the negative feedback for them if they let this happen.

Everything are possible to happen in bitcoin including but not limited on the possibilities of being regulated and be centralize. Remember national currency was once started as a not controlled currency circulated in the market. Since, bitcoin is still young in this generation there are a lot possibilities that may happen to bitcoin for improvement and development.

I believe that the government can regulate the cryptocurrency. They have more opportunities than the people. BUT, the main advantage of bitcoin is still decentralization, and if this is so, then the world will change to a better side for us. It's hard to believe, but ... Wink
